Caerwyn
The realm of Caerwyn, a Republic, was one of the first colonies to the founded on the western half of the continent of Dwilight. It is one of fastest growing nations on the continent and is a realm of opportunity and teamwork. We are a close group of hardy colonists, brothers and sisters in arms, under the overall direction of a highly organized upper echelon elected by the Nobility of Caerwyn. We all share the same goal: to be the strongest nation in the central area of Western Dwilight by appling our best efforts to deal with any situation, by trusting in each other, emphasizing the importance of military obedience, and respecting the Realm's Hierarchy.

The History of Caerwyn
The full history of Caerwyn can be seen here.
The Governmental Structure of Caerwyn
Caerwyn is a Republic, where the Regional Lords vote in representation of their knights. The Realm Council consists of the Archon (King), elected every 3 months; High Magistrate (Judge), elected every month; along with the State Purser (Banker) and Grand Imperator (General), who are appointed by the Archon; and the Dukes of the realm. To further ensure the realms success, the Archon may form an Advisory Council of select Regional Lords to assist the Realm Council and may appoint a regional Lord for any newly acquired or imperial region, in order to more efficiently coordinate and to ensure the on-going prosperity and stability of the realm.
The Archon's of Caerwyn
Delia Sosiskiy
- Co-Founder and first Archon of Caerwyn. Under her leadership Caerwyn was born into infancy, and began its quest of colonization on the western half of Dwilight. She served two consecutive terms and then stepped down to allow the Republic to elect a new Archon. She later assisted the realm for a couple of years as an ambassador before mysteriously disappearing. She is now assumed dead and was bidden farewell with a lavish funeral.
Lucian Aperion
- He was elected the second Archon of Caerwyn and was then re-elected for 3 consecutive terms. His reign saw the realm double in size and secure a strong Federation with Astrum. Growing tired of the constant politics associated with the position, he too stepped down to allow the Republic to elect a new Archon. He was re-elected when Khephera Stormwind had been wounded. He was killed in battle by a horde of monsters.
Khephera Stormwind
- She was elected as the third Archon of Caerwyn and is still reigning. Under her rule, the city of Echiur was colonized. The new realm, Asylon, consists of friends of Caerwyn thanks to the years they spent here preparing for the colonization. The city of Itau was added to Caerwyn in this period. She was re-elected when Lucian Aperion was killed.
The General Diplomacy of Caerwyn
It has always been Caerwyn's approach to maintain healthy relations with its neighbors, and in this vein good relations are held with almost every realm on the continent. In addition, Caerwyn and Astrum are Federated Allies with a long standing and close friendship.
The Military System of Caerwyn
Caerwyn's military is one of the strongest on Dwilight. It relies upon the pragmatic leadership of its Marshals under the guidance of the Grand Imperator, whom is appointed by the ruler. The current Grand Imperator is Kanuni Kalkandelen.
Caerwyn currently boasts four armies, where exacting discipline and obedience are trade marks.
- The Caerwyn Logistic Corps, led by Marshal Andrew Dolohov, is an army of bureaucrats responsible for maintaining the realms regions.
- The Heavy Strikers Group (HSG), led by Marshal Rothat Montfiquet, is Caerwyn's small but elite army where the realms most dedicated knights are trained to one day serve as Marshals.
- The Legion of the Golden Griffin (LGG), led by Marshal Khephera Stormwind, is Caerwyn's main army and is responsible for handling the realm's main military assignment.
- The Battalion of the Golden Dragons (BGD), led by Marshal Daenah Dragoria, is small army that has been purposed with protecting Caerwyn by dropping militia and defending her regions. Additionally, this army serves as the purpose of organizing the colony effort of Echiur with all of the colonist being a member.
The Justice System of Caerwyn
Caerwyn's Justice system is based on a set of clearly defined laws that derive their enforcement powers from the will of the High Magistrate, whose actions and performance are reviewed by the nobility through monthly democratic elections. The current High Magistrate is Daenah Dragoria, serving her fourth consecutive term. During her first month as High Magistrate she has focused on codifying all of Caerwyn's unwritten laws. During her second and third terms, she has worked with the realm council to further clarify the rights and responsibilities of the nobility.
Caerwyn's laws, as updated by High Magistrate Daenah Dragoria, have been recorded in the histories as the Laws & Edicts Of Caerwyn. Caerwyn's previous laws have been preserved as the The Supreme Arbitrator's Laws.
The Newspapers of Caerwyn
The Caerwynian Chronicle is the official newspaper of the realm of Caerwyn (and its only one), and reports upon the day-to-day happenings in Caerwyn, as well as the rest of the continent.
