Varrus Family

The Varrus family hails from the land of Mansbridge and rose to nobility when the realm of Minas Ithil took over the land. The family had always been landholders, but among the poorest of those. As such no members of the family were ever able to enter into military service, but was forced to help work the lands that they owned. After the takeover of Mansbridge the Varrus family managed to get enough money to elevate their status. Publius and Luceiia Varrus gave their only son, Caius, and his cousin Beaumains cheap equipment and sent them out into the world to make their own paths.

However, unknown to both Beaumains and Caius, they have an illegitamate older brother, Theomen Varrus. As a bastard child he was unable to attain his rights as a noble and is currently an adventurer, living in the Cagilian Empire.
