Kazan Falls

Date: June 27, 1008 After fierce resistance against the Sultanate occupation, the people where slaughtered and forced into their control. It seems since they could not show the people they are friendly to take the region, they had to result in hostility and anger towards the people. Guess you would have to be friendly for friendly take-overs to work though. It won't last, the people of Kazan are islander's, and will be brought back under the true rightful banner of Obsidian Islands soon enough.

Sultanate Mistakes?

Date: June 23, 1008 In a surprising, yet very unwise move, "Sultanate" Korkut started a hostile take-over of Kazan. After failing in a very easy friendly take-over attempt, they are now trying for a hostile? The people threw them out once and proved they are weak. Now with the people resisting and the armies marching do they really expect to take the entire region after just a few hours of work? Keep proving your armies poor planning and how mistake prone you can be. This just makes our lives easier.

Take Over Adverted!

Date: June 21, 1008 Just a little while ago, the great people of Kazan liberated themselves from the evil forces of Asena. First they came in with several hundred men, taking over the place quickly. Slowly they funneled more and more men out of Kazan though, why? Scared of Obsidian Islands marching down on them most likely. Till finally the people saw their chance, and drove the Aseians from their homes and villages, knowing they are Islanders now, and wanting no part of being a self-proclaimed "wolf".

Relations Lowered

Date: June 20, 1008 Earlier today, Fontan has lowered relations with Obsidian Islands. The reason for this? To protect the Sultanate of Asena of course. Notice how when Obsidian Islands breaches the treaty, Fontan acts but when the Sultanate of Asena does, there is a blind eye.

War Comes Again

Date: June 18, 1008 Old Rancagua has started to turn things around? In a good move, they quickly took back Pedrera from the Sultanate of Asena. Also on the move is Sirion as they are now taking Salta from them. What is the Sultanate to do? With the islands back in the war, Old Rancagua taking back their lands, and Sirion taking from them to it's now looking like they have taken Old Rancagua's place on the chopping block for termination. The only question left for the dying realms is who will be the first to go? The Confederacy of Fontan, Old Rancagua, or the Sultanate of Asena?

Asenian Courier, Gets Facts Wrong

Date: June 11, 1008 Accordingly to the Asenian Courier, I "denied" that the priests and one infiltrator where in SoA lands. Did they bring proof of this? Of course not, as there is none to bring. I never denied they where there, and to say such things shows the level of intelligence that this paper brings to the world, none. It's a nice comparison they have though, sending nobles through Kazan that have no permission to be there, including a large take-over unit to be used against our Old Rancaguan allies. Of course it's equal that a few priests that cause no harm or damage to them to troops that could be sending scouts, spying and going to cause our ally damage. They also claim that I was sent several reports, but in reality of things, I was sent ONE report about the infiltrator attack. As such the damage was dealt, and the infiltrator punished. Has anything been done about the troop movement though? Of course not, as a realm with out honor, would care little for a treaty such as the one we hold. It's only their army that not so long ago we fought against that is moving through our lands once again, I am sure the people of the Islands love to see them again, or not. This new paper, the Courier needs to get it's facts right before sending their prints to the paper.

Sultanate Makes Moves Against OR and OI

Date: June 10, 1008 As the Sultanate complains about priests in their lands, they start sending troops into Kazan. First a small, unauthorized unit. The second was respectful enough to ask permission, and is moving through peacefully without incident. Now reports also show another noble moving from Kazakh to Kazan, and to make things even worse they are coming in with a 100 man unit. What a turn of events, first they complain about priests, saying how the treaty is broken yet will not act since it was not. Now here they are, moving troops, a very serious offense, through Kazan with out permission from ANYONE. Does the Sultanate look for a new war against the islands once again? Only time will tell, as we will see it always does.

Old Rancagua in shambles

Date: June 8, 1008 In the much anticipated attack, the Sultanate has taken control of Oroya. It is being assumed now that the Sultanate is taking the city over. To make things even worse for them, the former lord of Juazeiro was killed, and buried. Lord SY was a great hero, known to many including myself. He will be dearly missed in the coming days, and we wish the Chew family our deepest regards.

Capital Moved, Regions Change Hands

Date: June 2, 1008 To the surprise of some, and not to a surprise to others, Fontan has ordered the change of their capital from Perdan controlled Krimml to Fontan controlled Oligarch. On top of that, they have lost the region of Dale. On a brighter side however, almost the regions that joined Perdan because of Krimml joining Perdan have rejoined Fontan once again. The question holds though if it will be enough for Fontan or if it is to late. With Perdan advancing quickly through the south, along with Caligus and the Confederacy of Fontan. Another question however still lingers. What is Sirion and Old Rancagua doing? No news has come from either realm since Perdan, Caligus and the Confederacy of Fontan started their wars against Fontan.
