Ever since the acquisition of Springdale duchy, the religious views of Morek have been split. People of Springdale turn their eyes to other religions such as Torrenism. The Holy Prophet then made a controversial decision to ban the public practice of Torrenism. With this, many non-followers in Springdale are forced to study their religions in privacy. Morek Split: Springdale (Pro-choice religion) vs. Donghaiwei (Sanguis Astroism only)
Ever since the acquisition of Springdale duchy, the religious views of Morek have been split. People of Springdale turn their eyes to other religions such as Torrenism. Many debates between the two duchies have taken place in the past month. Some of these have even gone up to the Holy Prophet. The Holy Prophet then made a controversial decision to ban the public practice of Torrenism. With this, many non-followers in Springdale are forced to study their religions in privacy. Along with this, there have been many break-away attempts, such as the quickly-stopped colonization of Torrent's Breath.
Followers Outside of Theocracies
Most of the Sanguis Astroism followers are from the theocracies of Sanguis Astroism, but there are a few from other lands. Based on my research there are a total of 16 followers outside of the theocracies.
10 of these non-theocratic followers hold high positions in their respective governments.
An interesting statistic if you think about it. If we could only establish a firm hold over these believers then perhaps we can spread the teachings even further within these realms. Also, please note that there are NONE from Madina, Grand Duchy of Fissoa, Myern, and Ordenstaat.
Star Phases
Scriptural Writing of the Week
By all means, bring the Sword to the outer world, but ensure that is is followed by the Cup and the Open Hand. Otherwise, you are no agent of the Bloodstars, but simply an agent of the Maddening Star alone. -Mathurin Hossenfeffer, Holy Prophet
(An excerpt from a sermon in Mimer.)
