Prestige
Can someone confirm or deny the bit about only battles won gains prest? That does not sound right to me. --Eric S P 23 August 2005 09:37 (CEST)
- I confirmed that you get prest even losing a battle. --Eric S P 25 August 2005 21:59 (CEST)
- Thanks, that was bugging me, too. I wonder if you get less prestige for losing than for winning? --John 26 August 2005 05:41 (CEST)
- I know that winning a lopsided battle get you almost nothing. Honor or Prest. Doing well in a battle your side loses can get you as much and more honor/prest than doing poorly in one your side wins. --Eric S P 26 August 2005 11:30 (CEST)
- You can gain prestige when losing a battle, but it is far less likely than for winning one. --Tom 30 August 2005 19:26 (CEST)
There appear to be a whole bunch of things not on the list that require minimum prestige and/or honour, including:
- police work
- setting up militia
- money transfers
Is there a list and/or any indication of what these minimum levels are? As a relatively new player it helps to know what my characters can and can't do-- preferably without wasting turns in the attempt. --Robbiem 14 October 2005 01:02 (CEST)
