Raif lives on his family's estate in Yule, Atamara and belongs to the Barony of Makar. He is a knight of Yule.
He is a hard, pragmatic young man. His first loyalty is to his family, but will make compromises over the short term to bring them glory over the long term. Pragmatist though he may be, he does believe in Valhalla; his siblings have much different ideas about religion.
He has been seen wearing a concealing hooded cloak made of arctic fox fur. He acquired a huge double-bladed axe called Skullbreaker from Lady Vendetta.
