+ | As can be seen in regional news Fontan has taken the wise but somewhat late action of removing that completely useless lump of wax that was their last chancellor (the diplomatic Genius Aulus Severus) and replaced it with something perhaps more effective. Katalynfae Dragul has become the new chancellor and has taken the unusual move (for Fontan) of addressing the rulers of East continent to open discussion as to the future of Fontan. This is progress for Fontan and shows that the city state is beginning to attempt to address its problems. The question though that people will be asking is will this be progress too late? Fontan has already been stripped of five of the seven regions it had at the start of the war and Braga is continually changing hands. Perdan is still at war with Fontan as well as Caligus and today Perdan again gave it's aid to Westmoor in addressing Fontanese skirmishers in the region of Braga. Fontan is still hated violently by its neighbor Westmoor as well as many other realms and this kind of hatred (not among peasants but from the aristocracy) doesn't go away over night. Katalynfae will have a lot of work cut for her.

+ | News that has been bubbling inside the halls of the church of humanity is that a potential conflict has come to the surface between Eponllyn and Armonia. A noble by the name of Valko D'Este a former earl of Nimraw attempted to assassinate the former King of Armonia duke Dread Fantom yesterday. The current ruler (Autrey Bendix) wrote to all rulers of the continent to demand an explanation for the attempt. Autrey also made clear that to avoid war Eponllyn would be required to ban the noble Valko and sign a peace treaty with Armonia. Siana Deytheur (Queen of Eponllyn) has since responded today and banned the noble Valko however she expressed that she did not trust Armonia enough to sign a peace treaty. The question now will be whether or not Armonia sees this as the necessary prequisites for a war in the south.
+ | |||
+ | As it amuses me I'll probably start referring to Armonia and Eponllyn as the 'ladies of the south' as they are after all ruled by two Queens. Please forgive me.
