The Togran family originates from Colasan. They are landed nobles going back generations, and have an uncanny ability to make money and share their good fortune with both peasant and noble alike. This has made them quite popular in the realm and also an "easy" mark for new business ventures and lengthy campaigns of conquest.
The family has a history going back hundreds of years, but unfortunately documentation of backgrounds and genealogy had been destroyed many years previously when a "suspicious" fire destroyed the family dwelling in Colasan. Much of what the current generation knows about itself has been learned by word of mouth from acquaintances and relatives.
