Brennaborg Family/Reynold the Boar

Reynold was born in 22 YD as the oldest son of Meginhard of Brennaford and Judith of Litham. Although still a kid when his family had to flee the Occidens due to the Great Monster Invasion, his mother inspired him with stories about their home lands, so Reynold dreamt of recovering his father's territories.

When Westgard was founded, his mother wanted to join the new realm, but his father was opposed. During a heated argument, his mother suddenly walked out of the house and was never heard of again. It is assumed she left to her home land. When Reynold was old enough, he went after her and joined Westgard. Here he met Gerulf, who would become his closest friend while fighting side by side during the Great Rush West. Reynold also had a very close relationship with his younger brother, Waldger, who would join him as soon as he had matured.

He aligned himself to Lucas D Luffy by marrying his niece, Adela of Dyzig. She was instrumental in rebuilding Brennaford during the frequent absence of Reynold, who was usually out on campaign. She gave him four children: Meginhard, Roland, Adela and Egbert. She died while giving birth to the last.

Reynold then decided to marry Liutgard, the sister of his friend Gerulf. This ignited many protests, because Liutgard was considered a commoner. However, things quieted down when Liutgard's father, Gerulf the Galadian, told he was the grandson of Dilim. Liutgard gave him another son: Everhard.

In accordance with his way of life, Reynold would die in battle: together with Waldger at the Battle in Farrowfield in 52 YD.
