Brennaborg Family/Lucas D Luffy

Lucas was born in 5 YD as the oldest of the three sons of Paulus D Luffy and Irmgard of Brennaford. When he came of age, his mother married him off to Susan of Dyzig, daughter of the notorious Peter I of Dyzig, while his brothers were married into the influential Maximoff Family and Gabhann Family. Everything indicated he would have a bright future, but in 26 YD the Great Monster Invasion would force him to flee from the Occidens.

However, Lucas remained ambitious. He invested heavily into the recolonization of Libidizedd in 31 YD, which allowed him to become one of the more influential merchants in the city and to keep a close eye on Westgard when it was founded. He made sure the claims of his allies were honored by sending financial support to Archon Faldron Nethercoate for his campaigns. This allowed him and his brothers to dominate Sabadellian politics. He also strengthened his ties with Reynold the Boar by marrying off his niece, Adela of Dyzig, to him. But he surprised friend and foe when he bethrothed his own son, Marcus, to the sister of the up until then unremarkable Lowry Cameron. This proved that Lucas had was very capable in recognizing someone's potential, which explains his success.

His last action was to support the Libidizeddan revolt against Astrum in 64 YD. Libidizedd was the original capital of Astrum and many citizens felt this status should be restored, but their petition was denied. Lucas decided to initiate a revolt and received much support, since he prepared himself well by allying with the most influential families in the city. Although the revolt succeeded, Lucas did not receive a Lordship, which he had been aspriring his entire life: he was killed during the fight.
