The Invasion of Redspan was planned solely by Carelia. After the massive damage done on Stargard by a Darkan Raid (caused by the stabbing of a Darkan Councilor), Carelia abandoned the Southern Alliance and approached the leaders of the Cagilan Empire and Tara. Using knowledge gained from their former alliance, Carelia presented a complete plan for Redspan's destruction. It is believed Carelia knew the disposition of the army of Abington and struck the Redspan capital before Abington could reinforce it. Abington itself was unstable due to an insane ruler. Unable to aid their ally effectively, Abington watched as first [[Stargard]] then [[Sullenport]] fell to the enemy.

6/13/2006, After Nightfall: Redspan is currently running a brutal takeover in Tandsu as it is the only way to convince the peaseants in the area to give up their soap and water. The peaseants are desperate enough to crush fruit into a mushy mold to extract liquid and the powers that be have therefore decided to halt all inbound food supplies until a new chain of allegiance has been established.

Our enemies, the CE, Darka and Tara attempted to fool our forces by misdirection. They failed as our animal intelligence intuitively grasped the folly of acting on their bluff.

The fancy dresses and rusty swords of the average Redspanian TL and soldier is slowly wooing over the population. In an opinion poll conducted a few hours ago only 14% of the population were still washing themselves. If this be due to a decreasing loyalty or the unnatural urges of the Taran realm or a lack of drinking water remains to be seen.

PS. Great glory to our loyal allies Falasan, who came of their own accord. The superpower Abington is a great contributor to the cause despite recent domestic disturbances. Carelia currently has it's hands full fighting the Cagilan Empire on it's own front and requires the effort of every soldier to keep the major hostile power at bay.

6/14/2006, After Sunrise: Tandsu is officially an imperial Redspanian province. All hail Da Goat! Yet our work is not over. The majority of the 352 peaseants feel as if they are being 'occupied'. To counteract these childese feelings of resentment the Goatdom forces and allies of Goatdom have begun to *hand out* free lard rations to all citizenry!

*Occasionally our soldiers and TL's in their job as aid workers have been faced with the dilemma of having to force our precious lard down their throats in order to lubricate their digestive tracts in order to prepare them for nourishment after a whole season of starvation. Many peaseants have been to weak to eat but thanks to the devoted effort of Federation Aid the province is seeing a rapid incline to higher productivity and population ratings! ;)

Redspan was destroyed in a war with the Cagilan Empire, Tara, Carelia, and Talerium. The overall reason was to get to Abington by first removing its only ally.
