This is a list of any beverages of Redspan that are considered particularly "good." Merit to get on Da List may be on taste, strength or just plain fame. Please add to the list any that you can think of with a name and brief description.

A homebrewed liquor that does not taste very good. It is extremely powerful and can keep Redspanians drunk even in the most dire of situations.

Some of you may not know this, but long ago, when Stargard was under siege by the NA, we actually had to make Atblanian Moonshine every day just to keep ourselves intoxicated. The ale ran out within the first 24 hrs. of the siege (of course), but thanks to this simple recipe, we were able to worship Da One every day, which probably saved Stargard city and our lives. - Shamus

Do not operate blades, bludgeons or barmaids while under the influence of Bolgar Broadside.Aptly named for the ability to make the drinker feel as if hit without warning by a charging bull with a grudge.

  • Habapian Vintners Wine from Meldeen

Intriguing young wines grown and bottled on a family-operated estate. Dabug Habap fancies himself a vintner, growing Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Grenache grapes in Meldeen. Unfortunately, he used his archers as winemakers in the most recent season and they mixed the Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir, thinking they were the same grape. It can most charitably be described as interesting.

An ale from Lurgrod, traditionally imbibed only on special occasions as very little of it is brewed each year. Many will agrue that it is the best ale in the world, though most will agree that its high price does not make up for its fine taste.

Whiskey from Meldeen. Strong with a bold taste. Often considered indigestible by non-Redspanians.

  • Mother's

Little is known about this beverage except that it was briefly used as a substitue for the gallows during executions and as a fuel source for Da Original Grill. AJ VonKrondor, as the only other possible source of information, has been very tight lipped about his brother's recipe.

  • Raki

It's like drinking petrol and then swallowing a match. Raki is a foreign drink which seems to be 110% alcohol.

  • Redspan's Mountain Water

Brewed in vast quantities by the uncivilized and often barbaric mountain men who inhabit the great peaks of Stargard and Upperfell. Mountain Water's only relationship to actual water is that it is liquid, wet and may kill the drinker. The lifeblood of the mountain men was introduced to 'civilized' Redspan by Kradus upon his descent from the high reaches of Mount Goatabibble. To date the butcher's bill for Mountain Water is thus:

  • Deaths - 19
  • Permanently Damaged - 37
  • Consciousness Pending - 74

An extremely famous and tasty ale. It is a favourite of all Redspanians as well as foreigners. There is an entire subterranean cavern filled with stockpiles of this brew.

From the dung of the earth. A strange phenomenon limited to only a couple of remote springs in the mountains causes this black brew to bubble from the centre of the earth. It is the only known alcoholic drink that can cure a hangover.
