| Winwich returns to the fold | |
| After the victory over Norland in Winwich earlier in the week, Minas Ithil forces have successfully taken over Winwich. Winwich however is a barren wasteland, with few buildings still standing. With so few peasents alive, we may never know what horrors were inflicted upon them during Norland's rule.

| Undead and Monsters attack Shanandoah | |
| A foul creature calling itself Preparing rose from the ground along with somewhere around 250 undead. Individuals in the area heard the following message "Ian af Norland homnooke saese die ala le gralen Shanandoah. Shanandoah-Beluaterra? Ian abliare decam quae." Preparing then marched against the walls of Shanandoah. However the undead were pushed back from the walls with few casualties.
A day later Running led a group of 20 monsters against the walls of Shanandoah. Minas Ithil was forewarned of their approach by our Honorable allies in Falasan. Before the battle some peasents reportally heard him say the following: "Beluaterra! as to ehur theso he yer, were st eturs mand thallikenus Beluaterra. | Minas Ithil forces repelled an attack on Dunstoke by Norland. Heavy casualties were inflicted on the attackers.

| Dunstoke Reclaimed | |
| Minas Ithil forces have reclaimed the region of Dunstoke. The region has suffered under Norland's short rule and will take some time to restore.

| Battles in Mansbridge? | |
| Multiple battles have been reported as occuring in Mansbridge. There is no word at this time on what has occured except that Norland appears to have won each of the 4 battles. What interest these Undead and/or Monsters have in Mansbridge is not clear.

| Death of High Marshall Snider | |
| High Marshall Snider died valiantly in battle during the second phase of an assault on the fortress of Elost.
Vlad Count of Cantervern said the following at the dedication of a memorial to High Marshall Snider: What is it that I can say about Snider. He was a good vassal, an honorable Ithilian, a brave fighter. These empty words are said to every passing soul from this plane...so I shall avoid them, though Snider certainly embodied all three. I cannot speak much for the past month and a half, as I had been away on meditation, but I can say that when I returned to find Snider as the High Marshal of our forces I was not surprised. He had always had the good of Minas Ithil in his heart, and a healthy ambition to help. I still remember when he become Marshal of the Leohampton Legion. The fledglingy Duchy army had few members, fewer benefactors, and fewer still people who had any faith in it whatsoever. One of the few people who never lost that faith was Snider. That is the lesson we can learn from him. Snider never lost his faith, be it his faith in the leaders of Shanandoah's army as a young soldier, his faith in the soldiers under him as Marshal of the Leohampton Legion, or his faith in Minas Ithil herself to pull through this mighty conflict we find ourselves in. Snider had enough faith that he felt himself able to die on the battlefield, defending the very place he had grown to love, knowing full well that we would continue and that we would show that his faith in us was well placed. Snider had faith, and he had hope. I know not whether Snider served Athonlaurism, but I can say with authority that he peacefully lives now in the Gardens of Aya, speaking in jest with likes of Raziel and my brother, Beziel. He lived a good life, full of companionship and leadership. He will be sorely missed, especially in Cantervern. By Relkin Sypher June 12, 2007 |

| Undead and monsters appear to be troubling Atamara with more and more frequency. Is this the start of a major offensive by these creatures or merely a result of the wars that rage across the Continent?
