Von Broich Family/Moradoq

Moradoq von Broich was appointed head of the von Broich Family at the young age of 17 years when his father passed away from a severe fever way before his time.

The family itself has never been one of the more distinguished ones in the Duchy of Wayburg, mostly because the late Orelion, father to Moradoq and two younger brothers, always had more of a knack for the literary arts and bookkeeping than for the art of warfare.

Moradoq, on the other hand, has always been a more active type, and due to his youth is more prone to idealism. So in his eyes, obedience towards his Liege, Duchess Armitage III and his King Carriantor of Abington are the most important things in his life.

He does not really want to change the reputation of the von Broich family, but being thrust into the postion of responsibility of his family, he wants to do right by his betters. That is the reason why he gathered his initial 22 infantry men, dashingly naming them "Moradoq's Marauders" and set off towards the frontline to join the war against the Northern Alliance, almost always lagging behing the main battle groups out of inexperience, but still eager to do what he has sworn to do.
