Your Majesty, Imperatrix Alyssa, Councilors All,

The monsters in Perdan Mines have been broken. My detachment is hunting the survivors as I write. We fought neither fae nor fera, but creatures truly worthy of the title of monster. Chittering creatures resembling arachnids but without ey es or fuzz, their carapaces could turn aside poorly placed strikes. I believe these creatures may have escaped from a sealed mineshaft to the West of the Perdanian Spine somewhere, but in Perdan Mines such places are impossible to number so numerous are they.

Additionally, while patrolling the Easterlands around Pelasgia, our men discovered a handful of abominations roaming near a long abandoned village. These were no significant challenge themselves, but this indicates some foul necromancer at work in the region. I know great hosts rarely catch these madmen, so I might suggest a higher bounty for such foulness in the region.
