Istfaron is an old Char of mine on the old LOTRO telnet server. What I am talking off, is from way - far - over a decade ago. When I chatted with a kind lady there, she came up with the Sindarin name Istfaron. What means as much as knowledge hunter. Ist = Knowledge, faron = Hunter.
My love for roleplay came from when I was a kid. I played roleplaying games with my sister. In those days (the 1980's) the computer was new, and for many quite boring. It took most of the day, to load the dumbest games. Thoh, this changed in due time.
When I became a teenager, I started writing stories. From the moment I got online on the internet for the first time. I started playing text based roleplay games. Battlemaster is one of the first online gaming communities that I Joined.
Although real life gets first priority with me, Roleplaying in Battlemaster remains for me an important source for relaxation.
