Stretching out in her simple camp, the memories came flooding back unbidden. This was the same spot she had camped when the borders to the realms on the SEI had just opened for this round.

Ikalak had no infiltrators and General Carter asked for a volunteer. She was reporting to him and his second-in-command, Kaysa.

Reaching around to her back she felt the knotted bit of scar flesh, she shivered slightly remembering.

Sandalak saw Danzi here and sent Finegus O'shea after her. Only 17, so young and eager, unknowing the pain a dagger could cause. The healers were unsure she could be save, but after three days she gingerly moved from her cot.

Looking into the sunset Danzi wished she was an infiltrator, she wished she had a dagger of her own and she wished she could reap revenge on Finegus O'Shea and his liege that had sent him, Sebastian Flockhart. Suddenly her helplessness turned to anger. She would be an infiltrator, she would own her own dagger and she would reap revenge of Finegus and Sebastian.

Her dagger spun quickly in her hands as she stood in the same spot. She had not forgotten.
