Thunderborn Family/Daxion

The Kildar is the title for the head of the Thunderborn family. Currently the Kildare is Daxion Varangian. A Varangian has always led and will always lead this merciless family of warriors. He is betrothed to Cadewyn Thunderborn, also a Knight of Greater Xavax.

He earned his title, Panther of the Clans for his leadership and tactics with warbands in the mountains. He is admired by all who serve under him for his tireless focus and efficiency. He grew up simply in the mountains and travelled the world in youth before going through The Trials and earning the respect of the Elders and his role as leader.

As head of the Thunderborn family it he was he who decided that they would be roving mercenaries no longer. He, and his betrothed, answered Xerarch Selena's call to arms and were knighted in the historical Feast of the Black Swan.

Not all serve under Daxion. There were a few leaders of warbands who decided to find other places in which to make their mark. And there was one whose name is never spoken amongst any Thunderborn. His crimes against the family, against all morality and righteousness. And Daxion keeps a wary eye out for any who could lead him to this shame of the family's past.
