Pilgrimages exist since the beginning of mankind. For centuries people have been going to places where Saints are burried, or a God appeared to the people. There they pray to the Gods and are revealed from all their sins.

Pilgrimages to Vatrona

Vatrona is the most famous place to go to, as a pilgrim. There are many roads to get there, and many ways to do your pilgrimage. The most important thing however is that you are aware that you are doing something very important in your life and that you are getting closer to the Gods. Once you reach the Central Church in Vatrona, you are releaved from all your sins and considered to be a very dedicated believer.

The Main Road: Gethsemene - Vatrona

Gethsemene is considered to be a Holy City, as the body of St. Gathami is burried there. It is also the biggest city of Old Grehk, and it is the Ancient Sacred Capital. Therefor, many people first go to Gethsemene and star their pilgrimage there. Normally you begin your pilgrimage at the Major Gethsemenian Church, and head towards the Gate of Vatrona, through which you leave the city.

When left the city, the road goes to Baqua and its plains. Baqua has long been considered to be the biggest region of Old Grehk (and maybe still is). It is said that all the grain for Gethe comes from Baqua.

From Baqua it goes to Ffangor and the Ffangor Forest. It is here that many people conclude that they will dedicate their life to the Gods for ever.

Next is Gemke, which is considered to be the last difficulty before you reach Vatrona. Especially the Great Dry Plain is difficult to pass, as you will not find any food nor water there.

When you reach Vatrona, you enter the city through the Ossmatian Gate. Then you continue your road towards the Central Church. Here you can pray and enjoy talks with other pilgrims. Here you have reached your goal and you will be releaved from all your sins.
