The Church of Qyrvagg/On the Nature of Human Beings

This Apology (explanation or defense) is written to finally DEFINE how Qyrvaggism views the nature of the human being.

The Church of Qyrvagg views the human being as having one nature, neither good nor evil in value, eternally pre-existing said nature's physical incarnation, and able to exist eternally after the termination of physical life.
The Church of Qyrvagg makes no attempt to explain the origin of man, or of the earth. Qyrvagg has not spoken concerning the origin of man, and so neither shall his Church. Thus, it falls to us to explain the nature of man without knowing it's origin. 3The full and complete purpose of human life is to become greater, and live in accordance with the Amekanun. 4The Amekanun is the genuine and unadulterated spirit of Qyrvagg, eternally proceeding forth from him, through the unbroken conduit of the dead Prophets, and current Prophet. The Amekanun strengthens the nature of man.
The nature of man is neither good nor evil at birth, but is inclined to decay. 6It is only by intervention of forces of good, be they directly of the Church or not, that the soul may be prevented from decaying. At times, these forces may even be ingrained within nature itself or, in rare cases where Qyrvagg has bestowed great gifts, within the psyche of a person. 7The virtue-oriented essence of the Amekanun would be an example of a good force. In fact, it is the primary gift of Qyrvagg to the people of the earth to save them from their natural decay.
The pull between the decay of man and the Amekanun creates a conflict, not an equilibrium. The soul of man is in constant motion, 9for that which lives moves. When something stops moving, it is either dead or sleeping. 10Thus, while the soul of a true believer may have brief periods of rest (equilibrium) the soul is designed to be in motion. Specifically, for motion along the Amekanun, and not into decay and pestilence of the soul.
The soul of man is not, when healthy, in static equilibrium, but in motion nearer to Qyrvagg.
The physical world is temporary, as is, most importantly to this subject, the physical body. 13It is a proving ground, a testing ground of faith. 14Thus, it is important to do one's best in this life, and have faith in Qyrvagg. 15Yet, also remember that the physical body is a temporary incarnation of the soul which eternally pre-existed beforehand (or, that is to say, has existed since the point of creation), and is not the final resting place for the virtuous.
The virtuous shall exist eternally after this life, in Qyrvagg's Paradisal City. The unvirtuous shall fall into oblivion of changeless nothingness. 17Some would call it peace, but Qyrvagg's Paradisal City is also peace, a peace in which all souls have gone so far away from decay that they have entered into the full current of the Amekanun. So oblivion, while peaceful, is a peace of death, while Qyrvagg's Paradisal City is a peace of life at it's greatest. 18Those who are not virtuous will, then, naturally be selfish and cowardly, for they desire to preserve their lives, for they do not desire oblivion (of course, they may hold other beliefs that lead them to accept death, but their beliefs are wrong if not in agreement with the Church, or otherwise recognized by the Church).
Humanity is refined through conflict because the human soul is designed to, and inclined to at the simplest and most basic level, shift and conflict.
