Smallwood Family/Philip/Escape from Tamirak

Scene 1

Philip had finally snuck away from the enemy troops, and he and his men were well on their way to Tamirak. He noted some dust up ahead, probably from someone coming down the path in their direction. Philip, with only scouts and healers, decided to move off the path and hide till they could see who it was.

After a few minutes of waiting, a young man came into view. He was jogging and wearing the green and yellow colors of Tol Goldora. "Thank the Tidemother," Philip thought. He stepped out to greet the scout, who had been so focused on the endurance training that he jumped back and let out a small cry of surprise.

"So great to see you, sir!" said the scout. "There are some undead roving the region, but I found a path to the Blossomer Sea and even located a boat for us to get onto. Only need about 40 gold, m'lord."

"Excellent work," said Philip. "Let's get moving and into the sea, where the Tidemother will keep us safest. Back to Golden Farrow we go!"

The party was tired, bloodied, and unkempt. But this plan renewed their hopes to get back to civilization and looking forward to not sleeping on the cold wet ground of this atrocious eastern part of the continent.
