The Beginning

During Always' rule of Alowca, Mothman ShadowStalker dedicated his life to the Trinity and to enforce the will of Denariel, the judgment of Alluran, and the power of Khagistar. Shortly afterwards he founded the first sect of ShadowKnights, a highly trained and specially selected group of solders with their own hierarchy apart from that of the realm...they took direct orders Mothman who in turn took direct orders from Always himself. It proved quite efficient and even branched out to most militia had underground ties with them. However, with the banning of Always from Alowca, and the disappearance of Mothman struck the order to its core...

The Far East sect

As Lantel was fighting for the people of the Dark Isle, word arrived from his family of the successes in Alowca. After the founding of Arcachon, Lantel founded the sect in Soniel and named his close friend and native of the isle, Tondal, captain of the ShadowGuard forging an eternal promise to the people the Dark Isle that no one will ever again enslave them in their own lands. Being dedicated to the people, Lantel slowly surrounded himself by commoners of the realm and slowly disappeared from the lands of the nobles, along with the ShadowKnights that followed him...

Recently another brother, Kojun, once a mere captain of the ShadowKnights of Alowca emerged from the forests of Mnalor with a small following of ShadowKnights...

Secret Tribunals

In rare instances, the ShadowKnights may be called upon as a third party investigator, to uncover the truth. While no actions are illegal inside the society, it is strongly punishable to deal in deception and questionable behavior without the high council having knowledge of it. One such case appeared before Grand Master Kojun, when he was asked to collect evidence against a brother knight.

The evidence has bee released publicly in the halls of the Grand Library of Niel.
