The Death of a Hero

In the nights in that Yeux was drunker he sought the death in the battlefield. He took the death in his sword. The death was dispersed in Belegemon, in the blood and in the soldiers that fallen in combat. In the end of the afternoon the sun covered the sky with a deep red and Yeux was stopped observing the crows torment the wounded and almost died. Captain Rigo was reached by an arrow in the arm that held the shield and he didn't have more strength to maintain it. With the good arm he held the sword and executed the wounded enemies around him. Yeux suffered just some scratches. He was not very far away from Sir Lasten. The death passed close to Yeux, but drained the life of another hero. Sir Lasten probably had friends to protect his body to an appropriate funeral. The hero had died with the sword in the hand. A worthy death. The two were not friends, but they struggled in the same army under the same flag. Then Yeux nailed the sword dirties of blood in the ground and sang for the sky:

Bird of Prey

Bird of Prey

Flying high

Flying high

In the summer sky

Bird of Prey

Bird of Prey

Flying high

Flying high

gently pass on by

Bird of Prey

Bird of Prey

Flying high

Flying high

take me on your flight...

An old music that the Serpentis sang when somebody important died. Yeux sang this music when his brother died in combat and when he knew that his sister had followed the same destiny. Yeux hoped the soldiers sang that music when he died. After the farewell Yeux pulled the sword. All the soldiers that were alive were wounded, but other bloody battle would happen. And he would be there in search of revenge.
