The Bard, Berserks and The Prime Minister

Sir Richard Wentwood, Prime Minister of Hetland, Ambassador of Hetland has been captured by Berserks.

The Berserks advanced painted in blue and blood-red. Screaming as insane bloodthirsty animals. After a long time without blood, they were again on the battlefield led by the Hero with snake eyes. Yeux Serpentis, the Bard of Falasan, Holder of Averoth Three Crowns, Master of Potions and the Great Lord of Cori.

The Berserks advanced against the enemies thirsting for death. Many fell hit by enemy arrows. A few by the swords. In that field they were too angry to subside. They continued as a murderous horde.

Yeux remained calm, very different from the wild soldiers he led. In perfect movements he claimed the lives of those who crossed his path and continued his way without fearing the arrows flying over or reached the troops behind him. Then the last enemy soldiers fell. The shields could no longer defend the archers. A final line fell into despair. They were now defenseless in front of hungry wolves. In a last effort they tried to protect the Prime Minister of Hetland, now helpless as any other. But the Berserks had no pity. In a growl, they attacked the soldiers to smash and mutilate the enemies in a brutal dance of combative ecstasy. This was the war song that burned in their hearts.

And they would have continued, but Yeux ordered the banners blown the twisted horns. The Berserks gasped in a blood frenzy. Among the dead and wounded me, the Prime Minister found himself alone face to face with Yeux Serpentis.

Yeux Serpentis: "Drop your sword, Sir Richard. You are now in the custody of Yeux Serpentis, Baron of Cori. May the ancient Gods bless your soul. You'll need it.

And two of the wild Berserks yielded the Prime Minister to keep him prisoner until he was taken to a dungeon in Avalon. Yeux smiled a snake's hissing and prepared the troops to the next battle.
