Melhed
Yeux had preached to his people for the last time. All he had built now seemed to fall toward the dark abyss, but he was proud of the strength that was reborn from silent apathy, stupid bureaucracy and lazy cowardice. If there were more nobles, they would have fought to the end, but it's wise to consider the blood invested in war as the blood saved by peace. In a solemn silence, the Great Maharshi did the last inspection at the huge temple complex of Agyr, certainly the greatest of Beluaterra. Its secrets would die with him and all the rest would disappear, destroyed by foolish and barbarous hands. His hands were still red with blood from the sacrifice performed in Gor Ault as he sat down to write the last letters. Two veterans from the Berserks followed him down to the harbor where the ship was waiting to take him back to Dwilight.
In the darkest hole, you'd be well advised
Not to plan my funeral before the body dies
Come the morning light, it's a see through show
What you may have heard and what you think you know
Let the sun never blind your eyes
Let me sleep so my teeth won't grind
Hear a sound from a voice inside
Sure to play a part, so you love the game
And in truth your lies become one and same
I could set you free, rather hear the sound
Of your body breaking as I take you down!
In the darkest hole, you'd be well advised
Not to plan my funeral before the body dies...
Yeux observed for the last time the contours of his holy city while the waves and winds pushed him away. He blessed his unborn child and let the sun crown his forehead wilhe Beluaterra, the cursed continent, was left behind.
