Shame in You

You're right as rain but you're all to blame

Agreed my crime's the same

My sins I'll claim, give you back shed pain

Go find a place for own shame!

Henrich was angry. The opening of the huge temple in Itau with the celebrations and rituals of the special occasion had had a disastrous result. The sacred fruit had left him with his head in the clouds, enough to forget even the elections. It was unpleasant to know that his title of High Magistrate had been taken by such incompetence. For such levity. The very sound of that silence was disturbing. Even fulfill his role as Ambassador and have long conversations to pacify the population of the annexed regions weren't enough for him. Henrich needed that noise. He felt as if something had been stolen from him; silently... unknowingly. One day he had woken up with a huge hangover and an ungrateful harlot had taken something away. It was like waking up without his dick and knows that it was out there, as a pendant for someone else.

His blonde lover tried to cheer him. Obviously, nothing was taken from between his legs and it was better to find more creative uses for a finger with a missing ring. On his lap, she sang about the sea, about the siren's songs and verdant hills where little creatures used to play tricks with the poor minds. However, even the sweetest kisses weren’t enough to blow his thoughts away.

Young Gal: “Are you still worried about the traitor? If the High Magis... if Sir Maron asked him to leave, why he’s still here?”

Henrich Eyolf: “The human soul, as the pockets of a Priest, has unfathomable mysteries. My bet is that he’s trying to pledge to the people for some mercy. Maybe he’s just challenging the King’s authority. Even in our monarchy the freedom of speech has reached impressive levels, requiring the steady hand of our leaders. Or maybe he's just an idiot with too much time to lose. I would be ashamed to be here begging for attention after being kicked like a mangy dog, but some men just doesn’t have any dignity or self esteem. Give them a bone and they will chew up until their last tainted tooth.”

Young Gal: “Forget it, my dear. One way or another, he will leave or you will punish him as he deserves. I’m more worried with the new pretty faces around!!! You know, you will need to marry someday…”

Henrich Eyolf: “My sweet, forget about it. Marriage is a tragedy in two acts: one civil and one religious.”

She laughed, biting his neck, tying him with her kisses, her arms and thighs. Her skilful hands were soon serving the chalice with the sacred drink. Another day, another pleasures.
