Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?
To Ryu, Romul, Derretias and Marion... and perhaps Rain

Erik took a sip of wine after his throat burns with a sake's shot. He was on the table with Romul and Ryu, two friends. Argued and fought, but none of them had to run to a distant realm. Sirion's interests were higher. But that was a day to celebrate.

Erik Eyolf: "You have a beautiful daughter, Romul. She's your daughter, right? That the Goddess protects your son, but I prefer a nice dress than a priest skirt. And she has the mother's determination in her eyes. Dolmbar couldn't inherit anything better."

Another sip of wine to relax and he stared at Ryu, tapping his friend's shoulder:

Erik Eyolf: "A good show. I watched you grow up here in Sirion and couldn't be prouder. Now find a nice lady for you and one for Romul and dance a little. Don't expect me to do everything for you two!"

The Judge stand up and a servant withdrew the heavy cape, leaving only the wolf coat tied on the shoulders at the silver necklace that rested on the warrior's chest. Noble and elegant. Raven's eyes searched the place. Soon the Judge's hand rested on Sir Derretias' shoulder, interrupting the dance.

Erik Eyolf: "Good movements. You father was a good man. We had long discussions and he was the only opponent that beat me in a duel. And seeing the latest reports I cannot doubt your abilities. But now I want to steal this beautiful lady from you."

He waited that Sir Derretias do this kindly and greeted him with a nod. Then he smiled to Lady Marion and offered his hand.

Erik Eyolf: "You are especially beautiful tonight, Lady Marion. A small eternity since our last meeting, unh!? I hope you forgive my busy life."

When she accepted the Judge's hand, he stroked her hand with a soft kiss and brought her close to the dance posture.

Erik Eyolf: "Tell me something, my dear. You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
