Serpentis Family/Erik Eyolf/A Celebration in Trinbar
Erik won how he liked to win: through the votes. Trinbar, the fourth largest income of Sirion was in his hands. Dolmbar was now just a longing and a place to pass vacations and hunt deer. At the dawn the Marquis Erik Eyolf entered in Trinbar through the great bridge leading the Stormwalkers with Captain Karl, the greatest captain of Sirion. The gates were open and the militia soldiers formed two lines along the street.
The citizens also formed lines behind the soldiers and they screamed in acclamation, throwing white flowers in the street where Marquis marched leading fifty soldiers: powerful Stormwalkers in black mantles. The troops marched until the imposing white tree, the great symbol of justice in the gardens of Trinbar. Many workers that were working in the walls and some farmers came to see the Lord speaking in the central square. Erik was with his heavy armor blessed for Elune and on the shoulders wolf skins and a black cape. The voice was powerful as a thunder:
Erik Eyolf: "Today I assume Trinbar officially. Some of you already received my mercy and many men were working in the walls to guarantee the safety of Sirion. I still see many scars of old combats. But I declare that Trinbar will be a safe region and a great wall between Sirion and our enemies!"
The citizens acclaimed the new Lord with animated screams and the work began. All the great nobles in Trinbar swore loyalty and kissed the ring in the hand of the new Marquis. The bureaucrats established new vassalage contracts. After the official ceremony Erik walked with Captain Karl and some responsible ones for the repairs in the fortifications. The work was almost complete and it was enough to repel the enemies. While that happened another suite of employees went crossing the fortifications in direction of the Dragon's Nest to occupy the great Keep and to do it a comfortable place to receive the new Lord.
After inspecting the palisades Erik walked to the south of the principal bailey to inspect the main constructions where the scouts tamed horses and where workers manufactured flags and carts. The new Lord also donated some coins for the House of Healing. But now the feast was close to the recruitment centers where Erik would make an announce:
Erik Eyolf: "Lord Duhr was my Knight in Dolmbar and a great leader in Trinbar. He was a good friend. Today I am naming our cavalry as Stormbringers in honor to the great warrior that Lord Duhr was. And as the symbol of the power of the Serpentis family in Trinbar, I am also naming one of our infantries as Stormwalkers. Today we will drink a lot of beer to commemorate!!!"
The soldiers screamed and there was a new acclamation. A sound of swords in the shields and screams of the people echoed under the sun. The work there was finished. Then the Lord marched with some soldiers and employees to the south and ordered that one of scouts brought some information of Tabost. There he inspected some farms, but not very far. In the end of day he went back to the courtyard and received some citizens, judging some cases and spreading more mercy. After he would still have a time to answer some letters when he was already comfortable. His mansion in Dolmbar was comfortable, but now he would sleep in a small castle. And he liked the idea. When the night arrived he wanted breath to drink a good beer and commemorate. He also needed to visit the temple to bless Elune in appropriate means. A good day. And a good night.
