Selemnir Family/Blaeric
Blaeric Selemnir
Blaeric is the second trueborn son of the Selemnir family. At a young age a brave and stalwart Blaeric decided to leave the family home and face the trials of the wartorn South West Island. Blaeric quickly made an impression on the landed nobility and carved out a name for himself as a brave and dedicated commander. Though his realm was defeated and Blaeric was forced to flee, Blaeric gained the confidence and reputation that his brave actions had warranted.
Blaeric soon arrived on the island of Belauterra and made a home for himself in the land of Mesh, where he soon became influencial in helping rebuild the realm from the devastation of the attacks of the undead hordes. Blaeric soon went under the tutelage of Mesh's renowned banker Adrahil Cuthalion, whom he eventually replaced as Minister of Finances. From there Blaeric became an integral part of the rebuilding process, and was soon given the Dukeship of the City of Poitra. Blaeric still holds both positions.
In his time in Mesh, Blaeric discovered the teachings of the Great Dragon, and through dedication and loyalty has become Steward of the Dragon, an elder in the religion dubbed The Path of the Great Dragon. He also financed the reconstruction of the Temple of Poitra after discovering the ancient ruins of the temple beneath the city.
A footnote to his life so far is his fathering of the illegitimate child Andric, who is missing and presumed dead.
