SHS under new management

Today, the SHS, supposedly Sartania's elite army, has come under new leadership. Sir Roberd, Duke of Niel, has generously given away his Marshall position of the SHS and given it to the former Second in Command, Sir Tenal. This, however, left a free position which was given to Isabelle. Some may say that it is just mere coincidence but both Tenal and Isabelle arrived in Sartania almost simultaneously on the same day, just 36 days ago. Isabelle Carver

TO in Athios

Today, Tenal Quasath initiated a Takeover of Athios with his 39 man unit. The region is currently rogue and a special group of Troops, men and women, were ordered to do so. TO successful After just one and a half days, Athios belongs to Sartania and is no longer a rebel region. The Nobles and Men of Sartania have been ordered to hang all of the rebels in order to teach them a lesson to to dis-hearten others who were thinking of joining them. Sartania now stretches it's boundaries across 10 regions, gaining more honour and power with each one taken. Isabelle Carver

Interviews with Sartanian troops

Troops are always thought as machines who do as they are told, when they are told and without asking questions. However, this is untrue and troops, just like their noble leaders, wonder why they are doing things. They also have opinions and so me and my team of scribes decided to find out what the troops of Sartania's opinions were.

TO in Larodais

The people in Larodais are revolting! 5 gold have been stolen from various tax collector offices. The morale is fairly high due to the peasants wishing to be a part of their new realm for quite a while now. Production, however is dropping and is something for us to think about and get fixed as soon as possible. Revolting peasants have done something unthinkable - they lynched the local civil servants and vowed loyalty to Sartania instead! As if peasants could decide who rules them! But they have. What shall become of them, who knows; we shall have to wait and see. Isabelle Carver

ISLAND REALM NO THREAT

by Velax Barca Arcachon are incapable of launching a successful assault off their island, according to Paladin Primus Talon. The general said he found Arcaea to be a much greater threat than the island nation. "They command a large mobile force from a good strong defensible position," he said. "Arcaea is the biggest threat to Sartania without a doubt." The newly re-elected Paladin Primus believed he had the confidence of the Sartanian nobles to lead them to victory. "I did win re-election, but not with as strong of numbers as I would have hoped," he said. "But I had a lot of stern words with some people and I think that cost me a good bit of the votes. "That I did get re-elected though does bring at least hope to me that I'm on the right track with our efforts and what we're doing." Lord Talon said he planned on improving the strength of the new Swift Hand of Sartan army. "I think we're still kind of stuck in a transition with the addition of the SHS," he said. "I plan on improving its fighting capabilities by getting more nobility within its ranks. "This way we will have two complete separate fighting forces, both capable in their own right of campaigning in the field." He said he also wanted to make other improvements to Sartania's military structure. "I'm working within the MC to establish a more solid and concrete chain of command," he said. "It should provide the realms military forces with stronger direction, and cause for less confusion."
