Sacred Mallet

Vic DerClerck has been having quite the jourey recently. Not to long, in his darkest hours after the Betrayel of Edmund, he had seen The Shadow. Vic had then rejoined the religion of the Shadow and even became a Martyr. But he didnt stay one for very long, he was a Hero at heart and wanted to be on the battle field. Which he could not do in the same way as a Martyr.
Now Vic was on a quest in Perleone, do do some heroic deeds and fight some monsters. Still so far everything that could have gone wrong had gone wrong. The boats had ambushed by some pirates during the night. This had delayed their arrvial on the main land and the pirates had stolen all his money he needed to travel in foreign lands... And the Perleone banks do not accept Shadowdalian bonds.
When Vic arrived in Castle Ubent, he had hoped to find some better news, but no luck. No new funds to be found. They had to sleep outside again, because they could not pay for a tavern.
During the night Vic could not sleep and decided to make a little walk on the nearby mountains. Just to get everything out of his mind and maybe do an other prayer to The Shadow. He isn't a Martyr anymore, but he still holds a high rank in the Church. And his Faith in The Shadow is even higher. As a hero he can serve his God just as much.
The night was dark, the clouds were covering the moon and stars. Making it quite dangerous to travel on unknown mountains in the dark. Vic was walking along an edge when he suddenly slipped on some loose rocks and tumbled down a sledge.
"Aww!" he cursed a bit as he had cut his hand on some rocks when he fell. Nothing serious, it just stings a bunch. It was definitly to dark to try and climb up though... He tried to look around when suddenly a ray of moonlight pierced through the clouds and reflected on something on the ground... Curious Vic walked closer and a magnificent weapon, a decorated Mallet filled with holy symbols and ancient texts he could not read. This Mallet must be ancient, yet it still was so polished! It must be a Sacred weapon! The Sacred Mallet for the Hero of the Shadows!
The gods smile upon you tonight, and fate has put a special gift in your lap. During your journey, you find the Sacred Mallet, a unique and legendary item (Weapon, +6 prestige, +9% Swordfighting).
