Atblane Lost Then Turned Rogue!
After the vallent assault against the NA in Atblane, the region decided to end its period of resistance in an attempt to stop the looting and raping of its peasents. But Tara's greed was to much and moved on into Upperfell. While busy doing the same to the peasnets of Upperfell, the Heroic resistance movement of Atblane has led an uprising against the puppet council. The region is now rogue and Tara have wasted a lot of time, gold and money in trying to claim it. The peasents of Atblane have been able to keep their beards.
Tara Running Away!
Recently Tara has been running hand in hand with their northen friends from Darka. Now they are running back home wiht their tails between their legs as the victorius forces of Redspan and Abbington chace them from region to region! Its not been a very good time for Tara, losing 5 battles and having one region turn rogue, another averting the Take Over attempt on them. It looks like Tara will not be a very welcome visitor to Redspan regions again. Although The army would like to see more of them. Its always nice to get free training.
ASI Slaughtered In Nida!
Our allies Carelia are still amazing us by defeating the ASI colony Take Over force, which was superiour in numbers and force. Congratulation Carelia, maybe this will send a message to Doc that the Federation is here to last. We are waiting for more results like this. It always makes us smile that our enemies and former enemies are still being defeated.
Tournement Sucessful
The tourny that our allies Abbington hosted to honour Drago, who was slain in hand to hand combat with Lady Doc's Biatch, was a fantastic sucess. Over 120 TL's participated and it was a very good week for all that attended.

Da Daily Dose Of Da One
Yes ladies and Gents we have your next supplement of Da One for you to Collect.

"The Barrel of Ale", as told by Shamus O'Shea

One day as he was grazing in Ambermel, two nobles came before Da Great Goat with a disagreement. Each man claimed that the barrel of ale they had brought with them was his, and that the other man was a liar.

"Oh Smelly One," they said, "please solve this disagreement and return this barrel of ale to its rightful owner."

Da Great Goat thought about this for a few minutes, and eventually bleated out:

"Bring forth a sword."

So a peasant ran off and hurriedly returned with a sword. Da Great Goat spoke again:

"Now cut the barrel in two."

Perplexed, the peasant did as Da Great Goat said. He took his best swing and split the keg neatly in two. The two arguing men were speechless as they watched the ale spill all over the ground. Da Great Goat began eagerly lapping it up. Finally after a few minutes, one of the men spoke up:

"Oh Hairy One, how did cutting the barrel in half with a sword resolve the matter of who the rightful owner was?"

Da Great Goat, raised his head, beard dripping with suds and said:

"Ale belongs to whomever is currently drinking it. Suckers."

Moral of the story: Ale is for drinking, not arguing over.

Battle In Atblane!
As the Sun set on the day of sucess, the vicorius armies of Abbington and Redspan marched in the rogue region of Atblane coughing on the dust kicked up by the fleeing army of Darka and Tara. A few units couldnt run fast enough and were caught up the hoofs of many horses and the boots of infantry. Now it seems the Defeated army of Tara is running back home to thier mothers, who are more fearsome than their sons.
Interview With King Shamus
The Redspan revealer was granted a special audience with King Shamus, here is the resulting interview:

1:How does it feel to watch Tara run way from our forces, and not even showing up for one battle?

It feels good to finally be on the giving end instead of the receiving end. The NA has been quite successful over the last week or so; I am pleased that Da One is now taking his revenge.

2:Is there anything interesting on the hozizon that our readers can know about?

I think Atblane & Meldeen should be back under our control again soon. The peasants living there have been forced to soap long enough, I'm sure they will be overjoyed to be free again. Other than that, I have a few irons in the fire, but will not go into detail here.

3:Would you prefer to see Tara Destroyed or Peace with them? If the latter what would it take from both sides?

I have never been in favor of wiping out a realm, even one that has caused our people so much pain, so I would eventually like to see peace with Tara. The cost of peace will ultimately be their decision.

4: You have been King for some time now what does that feel like and how do you feel Redspan will do in times to come?

I am proud to be King of a realm filled with such devoted and loyal subjects. Our continued survival & success will be determined by them. The spirit of our people continues to impress me, as it always has. As such, I see good things in RedSpan's future, regardless of who is King.

Thank you King Shamus for you time.
