Pike Family/Harriman

History

Harriman was the first to decide it was time to bring glory and honor the house of Pike. Since there was not a need for a Knight in Lerss he moved to Wynford and became a knight to Macrinus there. He was first assigned to the army of Strength and the Axe. When he first joined them they where already in the field fighting up north. So is spent his time in the Capital city of Riverholm training his unit of Infantry the Swordsman of Wnyford and working hard studying the the academy. Finally the army returned home to refit and when they next went north to fight he went with them. His first campaign did not go to well after a few battles when the order was given to move to another region he moved out with haste. Unfortunately the rest of the army did not move quite a quickly and he arrived in the region half a day ahead of the rest of the army. While he managed to escape without to much harm his unit was wiped out. So he returned back down to Riverholm to refit and train once again and wait for the rest of the army to return.

A while latter after Harriman rebuilt the Swordsman of Wynford the call came out for all those in Riverholm recruit as many men as they could and to move out up north. The plan originally to move to York and attempt to take it over. Harriman did as he was ordered and he was moved into the Royal Guard because of his quick action. After the long march up north which took well over a week to cover the grate distance the Royal Guard along with the help of allies tried to take over York. Unfortunatly it was not to be. So the they moved to Shanandoah to try and take it over. Once again they where unable to do so they attacked the land so that hopefully when they returned they would be able to take it over. When they returned the armour of Harriman's troop was about to fall of but he finally made it home. Then news game that King Regulus would be stepping down as king. There was an election and Harriman liege Macrinus was elected King. This left the region of Wynford with out a region lord. So Harriman made a request Aerack Anu Ra for him to be made region lord of Wynford. After much consideration and a recommendation for Macrinus Harriman was granted his request and became Viscount of Wynford. After his promotion Harriman went with the Royal Guard north again with plans to take over Shanandoah.

After a few weeks Harriman had to return back to Wynford in order to take care of his region. After a a bit over a year Harriman was able to make his first investment in Wynford. It had take quite a long time because he had to save up over 1000 gold and send it home to his family. This was also hampered by the fact his younger brother Jacob decided to go out and attempt to make a name for himself so it was necessary to give him a bit of money to start out with. Other then that it had become quite boring for Harriman. One of the few joys was in drinking and talking with his friends. He was becoming good friends with Cissa the current High Wisdom of Caregoth. They talked about all sorts of topics concerting the realm. Cissa became a good friend that Harriman would talk about anything. Harriman had also been elected as Caregoth's representative to the high conclave so he was able to give an opinion about realm matters. This was also a task that gave Harriman many things to think of and he took great pride in serving the realm in this manner.
