| After the turmoil caused by the Daimons invasion, Circenzio thought it would have been rather easy to do his job.
Rumors located here someone he hunted before, and even if he knew that hunting the same prey twice is not wise, he tried his luck aiming to the good bounty Dame Kailyn had. Unfortunately, his good sense was right, and the Lady was more than ready to deal with him, repelling his attack and cornering him. He had to resort to all his swordfighting skill to get out of her room before the guards could arrest him. Ashamed for his failure, he rode away in the dusk. | |

| Kailyn felt better; she even allowed herself a smile.
The battle had been like nothing she had ever seen. A huge hail of arrows had blackened the sky, and left her unit decimated. It had taken all her effort to rally her men and withdraw. Back in her quarters, still on edge, she had heard a familiar noise. Drawing her dagger, she waited patiently until Sir Circenzio was fully in the room. Then she lashed out, using all the pent up fury left over from the battle. Showing a look of surprise, he frantically defended himself against her blows, until he had worked his back to the door and was able to flee into the night. She helped herself to a glass of wine before calling for her Captain. | |
