Rebellions abound again!
Well folks, here at the Rancagua Press we are sorry to say it. But the rumors are true, Old Rancagua has gone under another series of brutal rebellions. These rebellions however were not started by an outside force. That is right, you heard correctly.

Fuinur called for an uprising against The Tyranny. He calimed that it has taken too long for our realm to be turned back to its origional state. He called all Old Rancaguans to throw off the Tyranny and settle back into the Monarchy.

At first, this rebellion was supported, but it had one tragic flaw. Thalanteus stepped down to allow the government to be reformed. However, unknow to even the oldest nobles of the land, this prevented our government from being reformed. This sparked the need for a counter-rebellion to be started. None other than Thalanteus himself called for this uprising.

Many people came out to support this rebellion, sparking a heated debate. Insults have been flying over the past few days, but they have been kept in a relatively upstanding manner. There have not been too much mudlsinging going, but many fingers are being pointed. I think a few people have even started throwing toes around.

Ragnell dissapears?
Yessiree, you heard it here first. It is official. Ragnell has not been seen or heard from for the past couple of hours. There have been some local search parties sent out, but no official action has been taken as of yet. We can only hold our breathes here at the Press and wait to see if she will turn up. Ragnell has been talking of moving on for quite some time now, it appears she has finally come through with that threat. We can only wait and see, and hope she didn't run into any Oligarchian raiding parties.

(OOC: Ragnell was deleted by her player)

Puzzle of the Issue
The answer to last week's quiz was: BarbaYimelos and Shadowwolf! Well done those who answered, we here hope that we can get some more people involved. Tell your friends!

The current standings are:

  1. Sam: 2 points (for creectly answering and being first)
  2. Atreus: 1 point
  3. Fuinur: 1 point

And the puzzle of the issue is:

"The monsters of the land had begun to lose their fear f a united Old Rancagua and were becoming a serious threat to small rodents and the occasional villager. Therefore, sensing the disunity, Antan called for a great challenge. In one period, from sunrise to sunset, all the knights of the land were to confront the monsters and slay them or chase them off. The winner of the contest would recieve the grand prize.

On the eve of the contest, two knights rode deep into the forest where the monsters frequented. They camped there overnight to gain an advantage in travelling over the other knights of the land.

The winner of the contest was either Dekion, Thalanteus, Sam, or Shadowwolf. From the statements below, who was the winner?

  1. If Thalanteus won the contest, then he concentrated on only the largest monsters in the land.
  2. If Dekion won the contest, then he did not forget his shield.
  3. If Shadowwolf won the contest, then he was the only knight who camped out overnight in the forest.
  4. Dekion is an excellent cook (shocking isn't it, but its true. Check the local tabloids!) and during his night in the forest, he enjoyed a sumptuous dinner.
  5. Thalanteus had to quit when his captive mouse, which he kept to attact the monsters, escaped.
  6. If Dekion remembered his shield, then his squire forgot to pack his food.

Wisdom from the editor

“Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion.”
