VIP Titles: When reporting on a noble, especially a member of the Sacred Court, always introduce them by title first. If you need to refer to them again, it is acceptable to simply use their last name UNLESS the hold a Ruling Council Seat, is a Senior member of the church, are Royal, or hold a Ducal Title. In the Case of the first two, the proper mode is His/Her Eminence or Excellency. In the case of the latter two, His/Her Grace. BE AWARE that if the topic is religious, you should use the religious title (if applicable). Similarly, if the topic is seculalr/political or military-related, use the appropriate corresponding titles.
If you think up a nice short headline for your entry, Capitalize it and place it at the front of your wikiline!

Domestic News	ALL HAIL GRANDMISTRESS	the Inquisitor	Following the gruesome events in the Basilica (see Inquisitor News on page 4) the realm chose a new leader - a woman of great vision and silver tongue - Jessica Gildre. When asked for a comment Her Eminence had this to say: "..." The referendum "Vote for the Ruler" has ended. Here is the final tally: 59 votes for Jessica 14 votes for Divus 14 votes for Adolphus 34 abstentions 75 votes were not cast. The winning choice is therefore Jessica, with 59 votes. A simple majority was required (i.e., 1 votes). All hail to the new Grandmistress, Lady Jessica Gildre, Grandmistress of Obia'Syela, Royal of Obia'Syela, Priestess of Heralds of Obeah. Preaching preachers - Sacred Obia'Syela saw abundance of nobles ascending into priesthood following Grand Herald's tragic demise. Some say it is a sign of Obian perpetuity, quoting "cut one head - three more grow in it's place!"
Military News	THEY COME FROM THE SEA	the Inquisitor	Thoughtful project of placing militia in the far corners of the realm, popularly dubbed "backyard militia" sees it's use on a semi-regular basis. Interviewed militia man of Melegra claims that the horrors come from the sea. When asked of the name of the horrors he shouted "badgers!" and proceeded to run away. Rue for Rueffilo. The Enlightenment once again failed to take the region. Will it ever join the Sacred Realm?
Inquisitor News	A HEAD OF THE REALM LOSES HEAD	the Inquisitor	Gruesome events of last thursday held the realm in horror and disbelief. When Grand Herald claimed that Grand Templar heads off his diplomatic work he decided to head off to Basilica and settle the matter the proper way. When denied a duel Goriad the Second completely lost his head and attacked the gathered forces. Eyewitness claims that Templar defense was so impenetrable that he could just as well be banging his head on the wall. What followed was even more terrible, when His Eminence once agains lost his head - this time literally - at the hands of Dame Antonia Fitz-Roberts. When asked for a quote, representant of the Heralds had this to say: "We must forge ahead, no matter the hardships."
Gossip/Opinions	KNAVE OF HEARTS	the Inquisitor	Is Grand Temple a place of grand affairs? Handsome courtier by the name Lucius Archival has been seen entering the house of the Oracle quite a few days ago and have not been seen exiting since then. Did the Oracle found a special occupation for the young noble? Is his reputation to blame? We will remind that gossips and rumours abound of Sir Lucius being seen with a number of noble ladies in a number of ambiguous places, including current marshal - Maura Arnickles. We asked a couple of local traders for opinion, the husband scolded such behaviour: "these parfumed nobles! lollygagging and dawdling away their time on noble ladies. Go to war, I say!" while the woman had this to say: "I don't mind. After all he's a courtier, isn't that what they do? Courting?"

BREAKING - Adolphus Schwarzherzig, who was elected Grand Inquisitor by the age of 19, has allegedly gone insane. it began with then-GI Adolphus apparently being slighted when a Templar failed to report to his orders, which resulted in an unfair fine levied by him. This was seen as a petulant act by the majority of the realm, but rather than repent, Schwarzherzig dug in his heals and engaged in mudfighting that most felt far beneath the dignity of his office, such as the following...

After repeated insults levied by Schwarzherzig, the protests started rolling in to remove him from office, reaching a climax when the Oracle herself, rarely seen or heard in public, protested loudly in condemnation against him as well. The embattled Schwarzherzig, in his madness, even lashed out at the Oracle herself afterwards, quote...

For being a dismal failure. The blood of Goriad is on your hands. You let this rabid Templar Cult seize power and then kill a holy man. Perdition awaits.

This all but sealed his fate in the court of public opinion. Things only got worse from there, however. With the writing on the wall, Schwarzherzig used his powers as judge to ban any knight that had protested against him, including Marshals Maura and Antonia of the Enlightenment. When word finally reached Grandmistress Jessica Gildre, she took swift and decisive action...

Adolphus, you are hereby banished forever from the Sacred Obia'Syela for Treason, Sabotage, and uttering Heretical statements. Your attempts to destabilize the realm and faith 
have failed, and I pray for whatever realm offers asylum for your wickedness. May they never let your reach a position of power.

Suffices to say that the public backlash against Schwarzherzig was overwhelming, with many of the Sacred realm's nobles simply pointing to the man himself as the reason for his own downfall and ostracization.

After loud protest against his actions, Adolphus Schwarzherzig of Sacred Obia'Syela has been forced to step down from his judge position. He also loses a point of prestige and 
5 points of honour.

Unfortuately, this did come too late for some high nobles of the sacred realm. Schwarzherzig farcical bans went into effect before the Grandmistress could use her powers to act. Knights Lucius,Maura, Jheda, Antonia, Achelous, Godwine were forcibly removed due to the bans coming into effect. However, With her first true executive action completed, The Grandmistress then levied the strong political power of her office to asume the title and responsibilities of the Office of Grand Inquisitor, making her the first person in Obian history to hold to Grand Council positions simultaneously besides the Oracle herself. Grandmistress Jessica then immediately set about reversing the damage Schwarzherzig, unbanning nobles, restoring the judge bulletin, legalizing magic

I have appointed myself as Grand Inquisitor. All bans have been lifted, as the banishments would have gone into effect before the election ran its course. Due to paperwork, I 
cannot banish anyone for a day or two, but I assure you all that Adolphus shall be banished as soon as it is possible for me to do so. Call me selfish, but I placed much faith 
in Adolphus, and I would see him banished by my own hand. The referendum has begun for the next Grand Inquisitor. Candidates who are eager for the position, begin your 
campaigns now. Once the election has run its course, I shall honor the chosen of the realm and step down from the position to appoint them.

The Editor

Following the Adolphus Situation, Her Holiness the Oracle has decreed the dissolution of the HERALDS EXTERNAL FORCE, formerly commissioned and commanded by Grand Herald Goriad II. While no official reason has been given, rumors suggest that the Oracle, who felt personally responsible for facilitating Goriad II and later Adolphus's rise to power and subsequent abuse thereof, was removing all reminders of what she considered to be her past failures.

Domestic News	1st ISSUE - RUEFELLO ENLIGHTENED?	Editor of the Mute Herald	Her Holy Grace, Duchess Rania Eastersand JeVondair, commemorates the commissioning and founding of The Mute Herald The rural province of Ruefello is Enlightened, but Rebels and anarchists are freely operating in the region. Her Holy Grace, Duchess Rania Eastersand JeVondair, entrust the lordship of the region to Vice-Marshal Astros Renodin to the surprise of many in the Sacred Court as rumors from undisclosed sources reported that the Vice-Marshal had so angered the Duchess that she had his estate in Rines cut in half. At this time, her Grace has declined to comment. Grand Templar Vahanian petitioned the Grand Council to open ALL ruling council positions to regular elections, which many percieved as a swipe at the Grand Herald himself. His motion was stymied, however, when the Oracle herself spoke up in favor of the status quo. The Grand Templar also voiced his concerns over the Grand Herald's new private military force, the HERALDS EXTERNAL FORCE. Locals in Rines warn of impending food shortages.
Military News	WHERE ARE THE TEMPLARS?	Editor of the Mute Herald	Monsters are rampaging in Ajitmon, Rueffelo, and Ardmore while Undead are rampaging in Athol Margos and Rueffelo! Over 15 peasants were reported as eaten, stomped, or otherwise killed by the monsters. Marshal Boltgan captured by Rouges in a skirmish in Ruefello when his forces were ambushed and overwhelmed. Estimated strengths: 370 attackers vs. 240 defenders. Current whereabouts are unknown, but family and well-wishers offer their hopes and prayers for his safe return. Several other Templars under his command were also wounded.
Inquisitor News	LICENCE TO CLEANSE?	Editor of the Mute Herald	A series of Inquisitorial raids have resulted in multiple arrests, confessions, and summary executions, reports an aid in the Grand Inquisitor's office. The investigation, lead by Inquisitor Adolphus, into Lady Jane Howard has revealed a cell of daimon worshipers operating in the vicinity of Rines. Investigation into the cell will continue, and Jane Howard has been declared guilty after a confession of Heresy. Another cell of heretics has been rooted out and cleansed by the team of Inquisitor Maura in the vicinity of Avengmil. Numerous heretic devices were confiscated, and shall be processed accordingly. Confessions of Heresy were obtained from two commoners, Widar and Hoary.

Gossip/Opinions	WHO's THE FAIREST OF THEM ALL?	Editor of the Mute Herald	This week we take a look at the aristocratic women of the Sacred Court! We polled farmers and craftsman from villages all over the realm to learn who they believe the most attractive noblewoman in the land is. Naturally, many were swift to name Priestess Kiki Raven, the Lady of Melegra. However, our investigators found this to be more the result of heresay as few who named her could even describe her features! Suffices to say that the votes were narrowed to a fierce competition between Lady Maura (27) of the Inquisition and Lady Antonia (25) of the Templars. Lady Maura won out over her younger counterpart by JUST ONE VOTE! After requesting anonymity, the caster of the deciding ballot later admitted that, having found BOTH women to be of equal beauty, he selected Lady Maura stating "Well, the two are literally as different as night an day, but Lady Maura has the same exotic Desert-of-Silhouettes features as the Oracle, right? When you take that into consideration, well, my vote practically cast itself" Rumor has it that Lady Janis, the former Grand Inquisitor, may or may not currently be involved with someone...
