Red eyes, Erin was staring into red eyes. Eyes that pierce through the Heart. The foul beast stared back into Erin’s own eyes. The beast walks towards Erin as he tries to find his sword. Erin can’t find it, he refuses to run. The beast lowers his head and says “Erin…. Erin…… Erin…..” Erin awakes to see his soldier above him. “Erin! You’re awake finally! I thought you weren’t going to wake up.” Erin’s sits up and feels the back of his head. It’s a bloody mess and swollen. “Agh…. Where are the men?” The soldier has a grim look on his face. “Dead?” Erin asks. “Aye.” The soldier replies. “My head is a wee bit rattled, what’s yer name again?” “Fergus McCobin.” He says. Erin suddenly froze. “Where’s Concobhar!?” Erin screams out. “Tarajist carried him off.” Fergus says calmly. “Oh then he is fine.” Erin lays back relieved.

Erin looks around to see that Fergus brought him to a cave. “Let’s move out Fergus.” “Aye aye sir, but do you need help walking?” Erin looked at his leg to see a large gash in it. “Aye, I’m sure I do now.” Fergus helps Erin up and puts Erin’s arm around his neck and helps him walk out. “Through Watersdown we go.”

Hours later Erin and Fergus find themselves in Watersdown. It’s the desert but they find a small oasis with trees. “Lets rest for a little bit.” Erin says sitting against a rock. Fergus stays standing; he walks over to the water. He stands looking at his reflection in the water. The moon is out and the night air is warm. “Lord Erin.” Fergus says softly. “Aye?” Erin lifts an eyebrow. “I…..” Fergus drops to his knees and falls backwards gasping. A silhouette of an arrow came from his chest. Before Erin could do anything he felt a blade at his neck. “Move and you die.” Masked men came from the trees and rocks. They were everywhere. Rogues. “Oh no…..”

A dark cell door which hasn’t been used in ages flings open and its newest inmate flies in and hits the floor. It’s Erin, beaten and bloody. He curls up in the corner. The next week is torture and beatings. Erin felt as if he would never escape, he began to think of suicide. Erin looked for something to end his life with. He searched the cell. He laid on the floor and searches carefully. He finds nothing. The cell door opens and guards run in and begin to beat Erin and drag him to the torture chamber. They throw him on the table next to all the utensils used for torture. Erin screams out “No!” He grabs a sharp utensil and stabs a guard in the throat and breaks free of the men. He runs out of the room at full speed. Erin ran so fast he could no longer feel his legs. He burst through the next door, then the next door. The doors wouldn’t end; he didn’t care as long as he wasn’t in the torture chamber. He came across a guard who tried to stop him, Erin plowed into him knocking the guard down and out. Erin searched him for anything. He found keys, just what he needed. Erin burst through the next door to find a large room. It looked like the entrance. He ran to the nearest door it was locked. He grabbed he first key and put it in the door. Out of all the bad luck Erin had he finally had some good luck it was the right key. Erin slammed the door open and ran out into the darkness. Not a single guard chased after him, none of them really knew what happened. Erin saw horses tied up, he grabbed a horse and hoped on it. He rode off into the direction he thought Heen was.

The next morning Erin arrived in Heen, the peasants were shocked at the state of him. A noble should always be clean and proper. Erin was dirty, bloody and bruised. He had very little clothing on. Erin rode to the palace, where guard ran up to assist him. He waved them off and walked up the steps to the palace. Guards began to shout Erin’s name and ask for help. Tarajist ran from the palace, he saw Erin. Tarajist smiled, Concobhar came from behind him. Concobhar ran to Erin, Erin opened his arms and Concobhar ran into them. They hugged for a moment. They said nothing. Erin put Concobhar down and walked up to Tarajist. “You saved my son. You have my loyalty from this point on.” Erin said to Tarajist.
