William strode into Anacan's duelling arena, his gilded steel armour and greatsword glinting in the setting sun. He saw his challenger, Lady Stephanie, across the hall, as well as... Far too many people in the stands. It appears that their feuding had attracted more attention than he wanted, and a whole host of peasants and minor nobles lined the seats. The two combatants did not speak, only instead lifting their swords to one another. Stephanie was the first to move, throwing herself into a very aggressive posture, but William responded with nigh-suicidal attacks, throwing himself into danger if only it meant that he would have a chance to strike. The two duellists parried one another for some time, until exhaustion began to kick in. Lady Stephanie made one misjudged swipe, putting her off balance, and William took advantage and delivered a cut to the leg, to thunderous applause. "I yield! I yield!"
