Theory on the Identity of the Paramount God

The Paramount God is the ultimate, supreme, unchallenged, unequalled, unexplainable god. It is the very top of the hierarchy and so incredibly fantastically powerful that no being knows anything about it. As an intellectual, and one who is exercising my theological capacity, I have thought to try and take a stab at theorizing on the Paramount God.

If the best way for a mystic to describe the Paramount God is as an ocean to a drop of water, then the Paramount God must be an extremely large entity. I use the word ‘large’ loosely since we do not even know if we can define the Paramount God using spatial terms. However, this description is the best and only item we have that gives any identity to the Paramount God so it must become the starting point for all theories and myths.

If the Paramount God is so massive, it must be present in all things in all places and in all times. This line of thinking clued me into my whole theory. In Mysticism, besides any of the registered gods, the only other concept to have such a broad reach and influence is the Soul. Mystics believe that absolutely everything has a soul, and that the soul is the most basic unit of creation. Since that is true, then the soul must be something extremely large in all things in all places and in all times. The soul must be so massive that it has to be the Paramount God. Every soul must be the drop of water to the Paramount God, the soul itself.

Such an unanswerable, unreachable question as “What is the Paramount God” may have the simplest answer, the Paramount God is the Soul.
