Morgen Family

The entire Morgen family is settled in the Colonies. Krof, a soldier of Giblot, is the only active member at the moment. The rest are either not known of, abiding on the family estate, or traveling alongside Krof.

Kristoff 'Krof' Morgen
Krof is a soldier by heart. He received ample training with sword and bow from a young age. He is currently the head of the family and serves as mentor to his younger brother, who has not yet started active duty.

History

The Morgen family immigrated to the Colonies after Germund Morgen, the head of the family at the time, was exiled from Beluaterra due to unknown reasons. The family then consisted of Germund, his native Beluaterran wife Eila, and their five year-old son Kristoff.

The family settled in Drenga, Giblot, where Germund bought a small patch of land that generated just enough income for him and his family. It was on this farm that Eila gave birth to their second son, but Eila passed away before seeing the face of Cahil, whom would later resemble his mother in both appearance and behaviour. Soon after the death of his mother, Kristoff (simply known as Krof by many) would leave the farm and enroll in the town guard of Drenga.

About 14 years later, a horde of monsters in the area had burnt down the farm, killed Germund, and attacked the town of Drenga. Krof, Cahil and some of the farm workers and friends helped defend the town palisades that day and succeeded in repelling the invaders. After the battle, Krof was given a noble title and an estate by the Lord of Drenga. But he immediately set out towards Giblot in order to enlist in the army - Drenga was now nothing more than another town to defend. His only family, Cahil, was by his side, and that was the only part of home that he had left.
