400 of fourth era, Edmund was born. Ever since early childhood he showed alot of potential.
And he grew to the expectations of his parents.
Talented with martial arts and a quick witted learner, he hastily absorbed knowledge of herbalism, smithing, knowledges and philosophys put in to scripts by his forefathers, surpassing his father and mother in knowledge at his teens.
Under the tutelage of his parents he became skilled with various weapons and became strong.
Edmund began his career in the business in a rather early age.
Edmund carried out many jobs and at times even took upon jobs that would require a band of headhunters to finish, alone, and was successful if to discard the injurys obtained.
One day when Edmund was on his way home, he stumbled upon a womans body, at first he thought her to be dead but it turned out that she was only near dead, her body had sword wounds on it.
As Edmund decided to help her, and heal her wounds he set up camp, gathered herbs and prepared medicine.
As he did so the man discovered that the woman wasnt entirely human, she had elven traits to her (the ears to be precise).
Unlike common people, Edmund knew of elves, as far as he knew, on Atamara they were as good as extinct, there probably were some larger remnants of them on other continents though he didnt know if thats correct or not.
When the woman awoke she was weak and could barely speak, she asked who Edmund was, and what has happened to her.
As Edmund answered she fell asleep again.
After weau days the woman gained strength and told Edmund what had happned to her:
Her grand father was a elf, or something to that like, anyways not a human, thats where she got her odd shaped ears.
She also was able to use magic, rather well at that, and that for those reasons
she was blamed of being a witch who curses people, and the village whos near she lived
had came to kill her for she was a heretic atop all other sins.
She had barely escaped and has no place to go.
Edmund had taken a liking towards her and asked her if she woudnt mind, he would take her with him.
He told her what his profession was and that he is rather interested as whether he could learn magic from her,
he also made his affection of her no secret.
Woman amused by his forwardness and sincerity, agreed to come along, and then she also noticed that she hasnt introduced herself, her name was Silvia Gutrest.
There was still a weeks worth of distance to walk to home, and Silvia had barely the strength to stand, so Edmund carried her on his back half the path.
After some time Edmund managed to learn the most basics of basic spell casting.
During theyr time the woman came to love the man aswell and they got married.
They had four children Ingus, August and twin sons Vahur and Arnold.
During Edmunds reign as clan leader, Edmund substantially increased the wealth and influence of Metsamees clan.
Also through his wife, Silvia, the clan gained knowledge of newer spell casting methods, they had knowledge of some basic rituals, though ancient they do function, but theyr usefulness is limited.
Basically a enchantment type rituals, used upon weapons.
However the documentation of those rituals was flawed and the enchantment didnt last more than 2-3 days.
Upon Silvias marriage to the Metsamees family the rituals documentation flaws were fixed in majority, aswell as new methods, spells and knowledge added to the libraries.
By the age of 69 Edmund retired and nominated Ingus, his eldest son, as the clan head.
At the age of 89 Edmund died, at the same time as Silvia.
