Madelena Cassandra Maggiori
Madelena, the middle child, never really felt like she fit in. She was not as intelligent as her older sister Francesca, and not as beautiful as her younger sister Arabella. She tried to gain the respect and admiration of her family, but was often overlooked.

An except from the journal of Madelena Maggiori...
"My healer says I am back to full health. I just have nightmares from the Darka prison but I am sure they will get better. At least I am at home in Stoneville now, but I have had the arduous task of informing all 19 families from my troop that their sons, fathers and brothers will not be coming home. They were all very courteous to me, but my heart bleeds for them. I fear I once again gave away too much of my money, but I just cannot sit by and watch people suffer like that; especially when their relatives died serving under me.
I then went to the recruitment center. I could only afford five men, but one of them, my new Captain, Gottolf, seems competent and I hope to be able to add to their number soon. Right now I am traveling to Mongale in search of a new banner for mine was too stained with blood to be used again."
Madelena eventually made her way to Lasanar, a now defunct realm, where she found love in the form of Sir Lynx. Unfortunately, through a terrible series of events, Madelena ended up committing suicide and is buried in a special grave set aside for her by Sir Lynx. It is heard that he still visits this grave.
