Declaration

The Ascendancy Era began with Suzerain Emperor Bruce Wilde. By changing the realm name, he officially ended the imperial era which somewhat ended with Ciarghuala Dubhaine.

War with Astrum

Soon after changing the realm name, Bruce declared war on the Theocracy of Astrum with the following reasons and demands.

The Ascendancy of Eternal Luria Nova declares war on the Theocracy of Astrum for the following reasons:
1) Astrum's Lord Nikulus Erickson, who is a council member of the Sanguis Astroism, has excommunicated two of Luria Nova's members from the Faith of Sanguis Astroism.
2) Astrum's Lord Nikulus Erickson has mocked the retrieved sacred pieces of the First Temple.
3) Former Vasilief Xaphen Poe’s unwarranted defamation of Imperial Marshal Wassgandr Felsenbach. While Lord Xaphen is not present, he represented Astrum and Astrum will have to answer for his deeds.
4) Having Astrumite nobles openly tarnish the reputation of Lurian nobility, referring to them as “leftover nobles”.
5) In hope to clear out all past grievances and reset the relationship so that a new, hopefully more amiable, relationship can take place.

Luria Nova demands the following from Astrum:
1) Statues of Bruce Wilde, Wassgandr Felsenbach and Elias Calder will be built across Astrum to commemorate Luria Nova's victory over Astrum. With each statue describing the greatness of each Lurian demanded above. With every statue having 
Nikulus Erickson, who is one of the reasons for the war, being stepped/sat on.
2) Astrum demolishes three recruitment centers that Luria Nova chooses.
3) To have the Sanguis Astroism excommunications placed on Lurian nobles lifted.
4)  The Theocracy of Astrum will pay the Ascendancy of Eternal Luria Nova 50 (FIFTY) gold in war reparations - OR - provide Suzerain Emperor Bruce Wilde with a ornate hood ornament for his carriage, befitting of his station.

After declaring war, the Wrath, the formidable army of the Ascendancy, swept into Astrum from the south. The invasion caught Jorn Aginharu, the ruler of Astrum, off guard and he fled hastily, leaving his realm in disarray.

Within a mere week, the Wrath had laid siege to Freke, the capital of Astrum, which fell rapidly. After refitting for a few days, the army resumed its march, forcing Astrum to retreat to their former capital of Mimer and electing a new ruler, Ramon de Santis, who began peace talks with the Ascendancy. However, the negotiations were short-lived as the Astrumites resolved to fight to the bitter end.

The Church of Sanguis Astroism responded by using its influence to launch a crusade against the Ascendancy, but it failed miserably, with only two priests joining and one of them actually landing on the shores of Luria. The head of the Church, Katrina Dragul, convinced Emperor Bruce to abandon the first reason for war to separate the church from the war and the army resumed its march westward to put pressure on Astrum.

After taking control of the Well of Mimer, the Wrath prepared to besiege yet another capital of Astrum. Originally planning to destroy Astrum's mobile forces before returning home, Oiron Camlann, a relative of Stratarch Medrawt Camlann of Tol Goldora, suggested besieging Mimer instead.

Before the Wrath was ready to march, however, the Astrumites launched a surprise attack on the Well of Mimer, only to be slaughtered by Bruce and his magic. With the idea of besieging Mimer now even more tempting, the Wrath began their march towards the capital. After two fierce battles, Mimer finally fell and the Wrath began their takeover. Though the Astrumites tried to break the siege, they ultimately failed, and when Ramon de Santis recovered from his wounds, he surrendered and contacted Bruce to negotiate terms of surrende

I wish to announce to you that Astrum has proposed a ceasefire to Luria Nova and is prepared to accept their terms as currently written.

War with Westgard

At the end of Bruce's reign, Westgard declared war on the Ascendancy. It was due to Seifer Tideweaver's multiple attempts at high ranking members of Westgard. After failing to execute him five times, they decided to declare war.

Westgard's demands:
1. Banishment of Seifer Tideweaver
2. An international treaty governing the behaviour of infiltrators toward foreign governments is drafted and signed
3. 5,000 gold

Luria Nova's demands:
1. Receive an offer of peace from Kingdom of Westgard returning matters to their state before the war.	

White Peace: The war ended soon after 🌑Battle in Mimer 1/2/23.

War with D'Hara

A couple months after the Mimer Conflict, Wassgandr declared war on the Kingdom of D'Hara.

Luria Nova's Reasons:
While we, the Ascendancy of Luria Nova, appreciate Pawl Paxwax's desire for peace, we must respectfully disagree with the way in which D'Hara is trying to achieve it.
Sending armed nobles to occupy strategically important regions in Luria Nova without explanation and taking control of Lupa Lapu without justification are not the behaviors of a friendly neighbor. 
We urge D'Hara to explain these actions properly and satisfyingly and to take responsibility for them. Pawl Paxwax's latest letter did not satisfy the nobility of the Ascendancy.
We cannot achieve genuine peace through deceit and expansionist agendas. D'Hara must abandon such tactics if we are to maintain peaceful relations.
It is clear that both our realms require a buffer zone between us to prevent further conflict.
Also, D'Hara must relinquish all claims, old and new, over East Dwilight.

By accepting these conditions, both realms can take the first steps towards the true peace that we both desire.

Luria Nova's demands:
1. D'Hara permanently forfeits its rights and claims to the following regions to Luria Nova: Qubel Lighthouse, Qubel, Nebel, Girich, Mattan Dews
2. D'Hara promises not to expand regions east of Port Nebel. By doing so, D'Hara surrenders any claim it has in any region located in East Dwilight.

D'Hara's demands:

Change to the Government Titles

To depart from the imperial past, Wassgandr decided to change all the government titles.

Ruler: Suzerain Emperor → Heliacal
General: Imperial Marshal → Ascendant Marshal
Judge: Imperial Magistrate → Magistrate
Banker: Grand Panetier → Lord Financier

Change to the Realm Flag

To depart from the imperial past, Wassgandr decided to change the realm flag. He decided to use a modified version of the old Solarian flag.
