Note: These Law's were writen in the begin of the feudal republic. Some things might be out of date.

Lasanar.png 1. Division of Power

a. Prime Minister - A Political figure head. There job entails diplomatic relations and forums. May exercise emergency powers if the General and dukes are incopacitated. Can table issues to the dukes council and ask for resolutions on issues. Primarily a motivated and the public face of Lasanar.

b. General - Is the military head of Lasanar. Primary task is to develope the strategical objectives of the Lasanar military. May order free nobles. Has the power to request the Dutchies to pledge there armies to the united cause. The general has the authority to demand to know the current status of all dutchy military.

c. The Council of Dukes - The realms internal policy makers. All internal decisions will be ratified and implemented here. Each Duke represents there men and serves the king. The Dukes council deal with constitutional matters. All decisions have to be ratified by a majority vote.

d. Dukes - Each Duke controls his dutchy and leads the men that are alligned to it. As the leaders of there own armies if so requested by the General or Prime Minister may pledge there army or deny the afore mentioned request. It is the personal choice of each Duke to do so. Engagements in various battles may also be decided by each duke aslong as fair warning of intentions is given.

e. Banker - The banker has 100% control of food distribution and trade. Which regions buy and sell food, which regions need food transported to within lasanar, and tax rate changes have to be agreed to by the banker.

f. Judge - The judge has control over disciplining troopleaders, dealing with prisoners and region maintance. If region maintance is required by a local lord then a request can be sent to the Judge. Division of civil and police work will be decided by the Judge as they have the experience to know what works best.

g. Local Lords - Your task is to make sure that your region is always well maintained if you are away from the region for a period of time then notify someone if it begins to slide. You are responsible for watching and monitoring your region. With this position you also gain the privilage of being able support yourselves more effectively. Lasanar.png 2. Political System

a. All Law changes not altered under article 2.b shall go to a referrendum.

b. All realm wide votes will have a time limit. After the time limit has been crossed, the most supported alternative will win, no matter how that participated in the vote. Provisions for the dukes council to amend redundant rules or too close loopholes can only be done with a unanomous decision.

Lasanar.png 3. Application for positions

a.If and when a ruling position needs to be filled, the Prime Minister appoints both Minister of Defence and Minister of Finances. The Judge is appointed via public voting, as is the Prime himself.

b. Anyone able may apply to any position, with the proposed restriction of one ducal or council seat per family. The only exception to this rule would be a temporary appointment in crisis situations, and by special request of Prime or Council only.

c.If and when a local ruling position needs to be filled, all Lasanarians have the right to apply for that particular position, by way of a public job application. Decision will ultimately be made by the Prime Minister, who needs the backing of the mayority of the Duke's Council.

d. Positions within a duchy such as Marshall of the duchy's army shall be the sole decision of the Duke. Applications can be tendered as with all other positions.

a. If a troopleader is wounded or jailed and thus looses there land title then as they have done it serving there region with honour there position will be kept empty until they are able to resume it.

e. Dukeships are a special case, to gain one of these positions you must first show an excellent RP history. Dukes must be the more active people in the realm. To be appointed you must also write the standard RP for the region but also show courage in the battlefeild, self sacrifice for the greater cause (doing maintance with the judge), and have proved your loyalty. A city is a big responsibility and you must earn the trust for such a position.

Lasanar.png 5. Ethics

a. It is strictly forbidden (Grade 2 offense) to loot regions (automatic grade 1) and/or kill or accost peasants. Lasanar is a realm for the people, a shinning light in a dark world. Even if the people are our hated enemies, they are to be left alone. -i. special dispensing may be granted to a dutchy if the need is dire. A last resort option.

b. Attacks on a troop leaders character are not only frowned upon but will result in the party standing before the Judge. Yes, arguments get heated but insulting integrity, honour, and loyalty of a noble is a heinous crime.

c. Lasanar will never actively seek a war. If we are engauged then yes, we will finish it. We will convert their peasants to our cause. Hostile initiation of war will result in standing before the judge.

d. We are the best food providers on this island we have gained much honour through our traders. With that said the good reputation that has been earned will not be dirtied by those who trade on the Black Market. Doing so will result in banishment from our realm.

e. Lasanar being a realm of the people will not allow any amoungst it's number to use their power or position to seek personal gain or glory.

a. A warning may be issued by the judge at his discretion.

b. Grade 1: Fines of 50 gold issued for first offenses.

c. Grade 2: Significant crimes or repeat offenders will be met with bans.
