Invest/Investing Examples

From BattleMaster Wiki

These examples are off-the-cuff values based on investments I have made and seen made by others. The values are not intended to be specific, as all investments are different.

Normal Investment

  • Region population full, or high enough to support 100% production
  • Production currently at 100%
  • Full estate support for production (If you have poor estate support for production, the increased production will drop faster)
  • Investing in a small rural region
  • The investment may cost approximately 200 gold, and raise production to over 200%. (f.ex. 210%, an increase of 110%)
  • After the first day, production may fall nearly 20%.
  • As production drops on a daily basis, the incremental drops each day will be smaller. They may drop by 15%, then 12%, then 10%, etc.
  • When the investment has run it's course, production will return to 100%.

Investing to Restore Production

  • Region population full, or high enough to support 100% production
  • Production currently below 100% (due to looting, monsters, bad maintenance) (f.ex. 40%)
  • Full estate support for production (If you have poor estate support for production, the increased production will drop faster)
  • Investing in a medium townsland region
  • The investment may cost approximately 350 gold, and raise production to over 100%. (f.ex. 120%, an increase of 80%)
  • Production will drop slower than a normal investment, as it will not be so high of an absolute value. (i.e. it will be 120% to start with, rather than 210%)
  • When the investment has run it's course, production will return to 100%.

Investing to Temporarily Increase a Reduced Production

  • Region population reduced, unable to support 100% production
  • Production currently below 100% due to low population (f.ex. 50%)
  • Full estate support for production (If you have poor estate support for production, the increased production will drop faster)
  • Investing in a large city region
  • The investment may cost approximately 650 gold, and raise production to over 100%. (f.ex. 110%, an increase of 60%)
  • Production will drop approximately as fast a normal investment, as it is is significantly higher than the sustainable production value.
  • When the investment has run it's course, production will return to the starting value of 50%. (Or slightly higher if population has increased enough during the course of the investment.)
