The FireBringers, Alois' first Archer unit, began as little more than a rag-tag group of drafted militia. Undertrained, underequipped, and underpaid; These men were with Alois through four large battles, the sacking of Ibladesh city, and several small skirmishes in the Mines of Isadril over a course of three months before meeting their end at Abadan at the hands of Rodon's Infantry unit, The Belt Tighteners, before his unit itself was cut down by massed Ubent archer fire.

In the end, they were one of the best trained and disciplined archer units in the Ubent army.
