Garthi Family

The Garthi family originated in Sasat of the Highland empire. The first of hte families descendants were twins. Artino and Sarti, while they learned that which was deemed appropriate by their father a sister was born. Yebbi. She was three years younger than her brothers. Her father spent all his time with Artino and Sarti while Yebbi was left to learn what was deemed appropriate by her mother. The boys battled each other and Sarti became the better of the two, but dependent on someone handing him everything he desired. Sarti was more understanding of how things workd, and Yebbi, we left out of everything.

Yebbi ended up being the first to leave her family. Her father said that no longer would she be considered a part of it, but her mother still held ties. For the first week she sent money to help her daughter out. For her daughter had done what she wished she could have done. Yebbi made many mistakes during her first week in the Highland Empire. She was reluctant to leave her families realm, but she refrained from going into Sasat. Soon she was Banker of the Highland Empire under Lady Riahm Aice, and then Barroness of Upasael. Her father, seeing her sucess, now reaches out with a hand of friendship and reconciliation toward her. Yebbi in turn has refused his gift of friendship, nad always will, he turned her out for a whore and she would not change how she thought of him because she was wealthy and powerful now.

Shortly after Yebbi ran from her home Artino left as well, he with his father's blessing, and went ot the neighboring realm of Arcaea. There he became a soldier and troop leader. The realm soon became involved in a war, or it was in a war already and Artino did not notice. He obeyed orders but always kept an eye on the Highland Empire. He was genuinly concerned that someone would take Yebbi and use her as a puppet. He had done so many times as they grew up, and he thought others would not hesitate to do the same. Eventually Artino grew tired of the war. It had become a war of misdirection and he, as he calls himself, is a man of action not politics. He quickly decided that he no longer belonged in Arcaea and left for Taith Aneil. There one of his first actions was to engage in a duel with Helios, Paladin Primus of Taith Aneil.

Sarti was the third to leave home. He, instead of staying in familiar lands, left for a different island. Not much has reached his family besides one letter.

Dearest Yebbi,

I was delighted to hear of your promotion to Banker of the Highland Empire, but I am afraid I have some bad news. You may not hear from me in a while. Old Rancagua is currently involved in a war with Rancagua as you may know, though I doubt you have heard much of the Eastern Island. It seems I should have done a little looking into on the realm, though at the time I was grateful to find one that would accept me.

I send you this letter so that you may know, and pass on to our brother Artino, these tidings. It makes me sad to tell you I may never return. Yet I might not, for I plan to stay and declare my support of Old Rancagua till the death, though it may come to that.

Here they have a God they pray to, and I have taken up on this. It is comforting to think that out there somewhere there is something that can help us, so everyday I pray to it that you and Artino and the family are safe, and that one day I may see you again.

This was sent to the whole family, and that was all that has come from him. Sarti has spent his time in Racagua as a troop leader. He has struggled to help this realm, struggled to keep men and gold with him, yet he has not wavered in his loyalty to the realm. Artino then decided it was all to much, he could not take seeing hte realm torn to pieces and left back for home and a comfy spot as eventual heir to the manor and lands.
