Fowl Family/Hector
Early Life
Hector was born a twin of Jorge and took precedence by a minute and a half. However, to watch them both grow up, you'd never know Hector was the favored one. Throughout their childhood, their father pushed them to be better constantly. He even personally trained them to fight. One time, Hector attempted to train his own hunting hawk to please his father. He wasn't very successful, but that didn't matter to his father, all that mattered was the initiative he had shown. Over the years, Hector grew into the epitamy of the first born. He was obediant, dutiful and held his honor to the highest reguard. He spent many days in his father's study learning the ways of governing the estate first hand. When he wasn't studying with his father, Hector sought after language teachers and learned each new language with earnest. When he came of age, Hector thought to enter the service of Soliferum in a grand way, and attempted to infiltrate a rebellion. However, either fortunately or unfortunately, the discontent was not widespread enough for a rebellion. After this failed attempt at a quickstart, Hector led a mundane existance as a normal soldier in the army of Soliferum.
Military Life
When Soliferum sent a task force north to aid the realm of Sartania in the war against Arcaea, Hector volunteered immediately, for his brother, Jorge, would be fighting for Sartania in the battle. He marched north with high hopes and dreams of glory. He returned unitless with toppled dreams.
However, not long after returning home to Soliferum, he was commanded to march north again. When he recruited his new unit in Osaliel, he found a striking blond woman who bested each man who challenged her. Sheryl by name, Hector recruited her as his new LT. On the return trip from this northern expedition, Hector was given command of a few green nobles who met him in the capital of another realm to quell the thoughts of rebellion therein. Nothing of consequence occured on this side mission, besided a little bit of experience for Hector as a commander.
For a few weeks, no expeditions were mounted, and everything quieted down a bit for Soliferum. However, a third mission north was arranged and the General stepped down. Right before this mission was launched, Hector was declared Minister of Defense. The march to Sartania was uneventful, until the force prepared to return home, and Hector dissappeared.
Personal Life
Early into his military career, Hector was betrothed to a daughter of a neighboring noble to the Fowl Estate. The dowry consisted of a large wood and a well established outpost on the far side of the wood. However, due to several northward marches, the ceremony was continually put off. On the second northward march, Hector's new LT., Sheryl, continually mentioned Jorge to Hector, and it grew apparent that she had feelings for Jorge. However, in retrospect, it would appear she was simply attempting to distract herself from her true feelings for Hector. When Hector arrived home after the detour, he decided to denounce the betrothal to the neighboring nobles daughter and marry Sheryl, who had laid with Hector numerous times over the expedition.
