Elegant Family

The traveler and historian Wansu was recounting the story of the Elegants to the childern who surrounded him at his modest lodge :

Coming from the decedents of an extinct ancient warrior clan, the Elegants leave their mark wherever they go. Being known for their ferocity in the battlefield and protectiveness towards their people and lands, the Elegants were always the first choice of the local rulers as personal bodyguards and army officers. Slowly the Elegants rose in reputation and power and started influencing politics. Many of the family are seen now holding good positions in royal court. One of the youngest Elegant nobles Jason Elegant and Charles Elegant, twin brothers, have ventured into the land of Atamara not long back. Hey...now it is time for me to go to bed. Come tomorrow children, let this old man have some rest.

Lying on the bed, the past events started passing before the eyes of the old Wansu. How he came to the land of Atamara after such a long journey, how he wished he should not have come so far. But he did it mostly for his friend,one of the elder Elagants. The Elegants sent their children, Jason and Charles to serve the Mighty Caligan Empire and Wansu was to report to their family about their well being and their achievements. He remembered how he would enjoy watching those little twin brothers doing pranks. Now they would have grown big, 10 years is a long time. But he was a traveler, why would he camp in Atamara and write about those two kids? Even he does not know ! May be he just feels that the kids have a great destiny to fulfill, who knows? There was something in the Elegants which had always attracted his attention. He has heard that Jason is now a lord and Charles has become a good warrior. Well...it was too predictable, provided you know whose children closely. Enough of thinking. Wansu is slowly falling asleep, he is too tired to think now.
