DeVesta

The DeVesta family hails from the Taran region of Andurus. The family is headed by Ronaldo DeVesta and his wife Maria. Both friendly people and strong Taran patriots they tried to instill the values of loyalty, compassion, and honour in children with varying degrees of success. They have had many sons over the years, several of which have left the home to pursue their dreams as nobles. One of them, Ricardo, found life as a noble unsatisfactory and has returned home for the time being.

Family Fame

Rojo

Rojo decided to stick close to home when he first became a noble. He began off as a soldier in the Taran Army and stayed one throughout the end of the Carelia/Tara war.

After Tara signed a peace treaty with Carelia and Rojo's troop leading skills were no longer needed, he left the path of the sword and became a trader. For about a year's time Rojo set off along the beaten caravan path searching for goods to buy and sell. His travels took him all over Atamara, from Darka to Abington. He also became adept at the skills of a merchant taking lessons at the academy in Foda whenever he returned to Tara.

Soon he had established a regular route buying the Cagilan Empire's surplus food from the region of Etoge and unloading it in the city of Sulville, Abington - which had a serious food shortage at the time. Very quickly Rojo became rich beyond his wildest dreams but being a thrifty man he did not spend his gold lavishly. Instead he sent some back to his family, some to the government of Tara, and some towards his lessons as a trader.

The freedom of being a trader and his travels across the diverse realms of Atamara developed Rojo's sense of self. His buisness in the republics of Talerium and the Cagilan Empire formed him into a steadfast believer in democracy even though his own realm was an open dictatorship. Being a quiet man and a true Taran patriot he never publicly denounced the rule of the Taran dictators but he still holds a festering desire to make Tara democratic to this day.

He also came to love the art of writing and became one of the main instigators for the reopening of the Tara Times, for which he wrote articles regularly. The trading occupation also allowed him to go and interview many people personally for his articles and unlike many of his newspaper compatriots tried to keep his stories objective and free of the hate speech that plagued so many newspapers during the time - especially during the Darkan Redspan Cold War.

Erico

Erico is the black sheep of the family. He is lazy, greedy, and mean spirited. He wants to eventually become an infiltrator but his lack of work ethic has greatly held him back.

He began his career as a noble in CE but quickly became bored with the continent of Atamara and joined the realm of Toren on the SEI.

Initially he found the constant warfare that gripped SEI more to his liking. However as time passed he grew tired of following orders and decided to betray Toren's military plans to her enemies in exchange for money. He approached then leader of Taselak, Cronos, with his proposition who not only refused but informed Fenrir, the leader of Toren, of his treachery; an action Erico has never forgotten and swears to avenge. A ban was issued on Erico and he quickly fled for a port city before the angry people of Toren could capture and execute him. When he reached the a harbour he spent several days creating a crafty disguise and then bought himself a passage to Belutarra.

Still concerned for his safety due to his previous treacheries Erico, after spending a brief time in the realm of Vlandereen silently disappeared from the nobility and disguised himself as a commoner of Belutarra. His current location is unknown.

Che

Che started his career in the realm of Yssaria on EC.
